Photo dump from the last week. It's been a busy one!
Last Thursday trailers started rolling in for our Saskatchewan Cowboy Dressage clinic and show, and tonight the last trailer rolled out after a great four days of Jill Barron Horsemanship ❤️ counting our blessings to have such amazing friends and horses that make this place what it is ❤️

What an incredible last four days it has been at Rough Bark Arena.
We hosted Saskatchewan Cowboy Dressage for the final clinic and gathering of 2023 and it went off without a hitch.
We can't say enough about this amazing group of people and their horses who traveled from near and far. It is a honour to ride with you all, watch your improvement and be able to call you friends. Everyone stepped up to help out wherever it was needed, from calling, scribing, child wrangling and even fence fixing and getting a c**t to the vet 😅
A shout out to Marci Perrin for being the best show secretary, keeping us organized to have a two day show with two rings and somehow organizing it so I could get some rides in as well. You are the real MVP. Our club is so lucky to have you.
Thanks to Wanda Metz, Hayley Frank and Jenna Davis for your hard work on our awards program. It's an amazing program, with amazing awards and your work is very appreciated.

I can speak for both Kim Repp Moats and myself when I say it's always a pleasure. We love seeing new faces coming and trying out this awesome dicipline.. we really love seeing you guys always coming back for more. We are very proud of how far everyone has come this year. Sitting behind C and watching everyone's horsemanship improve with every show makes our job worth it.

Wow, what an incredible last 5 days it's been!
Rough Bark Arena hosted the Fundamentals of the Eagala Model training and certification. Which means Deanna Schwindt and I are really close to be able to offer Equine assisted therapy using the Eagala model here at Rough Bark. It's been a dream of mine to help my horses help people, and we can't wait to get started.
I want to send a huge shout out to Glenda and Deanna for being apart of the host team and helping me plan, organize and pull off this event. Also to my mom Kim Repp Moats who worked tirelessly this week keeping everything running smoothly and passing on some of her skills for pulling something like this off. And Dallas Cody Cromarty for helping me set up, taking Tommy last minute for the week when plans got changed and keeping me sane. This wouldn't have happened without you guys.
Thanks to The Rolling Pin Bakery & Cafe, Welsh Kitchen, Don Pedro's Mexican Family Restaurant and Cecilia's Banquet Hall and Restaurant for the amazing catered lunches. It's easy to learn when we were all well fed and I really appreciated how accommodating you all were.
Thank you to all the participants for coming from near and far, it was great to get to know you all and spend time with such an inspiring group of people. And of course our Trainers Tracie and Ray, your wealth of knowledge and experience you shared with us is greatly appreciated. This was definitely a highlight of the summer and it was wonderful to share it with you all 💕

And just like that the arena is quiet again.
Tons of laughs, a little learning and not enough sleep was had this weekend during our Rough Bark Arena kids camp.
Huge thanks to Michelle Fettes-Howse for helping make this happen. She came to me last year telling me we had to do this and I'm glad I listened. Glad I had a friend to laugh at the shenanigans with and help me pull this off.
Thanks to the parents for entrusting us with thier kids, and for sending such great kids and awesome horses. It was a pleasure to spend the weekend with them.
