Well we've made it too the weekend! Woot woot! Looks like it going to be decent weather!

A small video below of Gracie with her kitten , Mittens. Gracie is the most gentle bulldog 😍. We trust this dog with anything and she never disappoints. She loves her new baby kitten ❤, constantly playing and mothering. This kitten has helped Gracie cope with the loss of her BFF Stormie 💓.

Well the Inn is past full here 😅😅.
New addition to the Trout Creek family....no name yet but so super cute. Thanks to Rob and Lucy Simpson for increasing the amount of cats around here to ridiculous.

In the upcoming weeks we'll be working on an enclosure so that everyone gets to see the cutie!

First show of the series is coming up this Sunday! Must pre Register! Ribbons to 5th. Year end ribbons and prizes for top 2 in each class.

Rain or shine. If raining will be competing in the indoor arena. 8:30am start time!

Easy going environment, with great people and low pressure! Most of the courses will be completed at a walk. If you need someone in the ring with you, absolutely. We're here to help you gain confidence and exposure for your horses.

It's Tuesday!

Long weekend creeping up! What's your plans this weekend? Events happening?

We'll be hosting our first Mountain (horse) Trail Challenge at our facility on Sunday and the weather looks great! Then the store will be closed on Monday so it'll be farm maintenance day 😅. Never a dull moment on a farm.

It's Monday! Remember next Monday is the long weekend so we'll be closed! (July 1st).

This is the time for donations, unfortunately we are a small business and we wish we could donate to everyone's causes but we do have to limit ourselves. So if we say no to you it's not that we don't care or don't appreciate what you are doing it's just because we have a budget. We usually decide where donations are going in January and February each year. We get asked to donate to various causes at least 4 times a week.

We have donated $8,296.90 so far this year.
Some of the places that have received our donations are: South River Lions, Trout Creek Lions Club, Commanda Museum, Trout Creek Fall Fair, Almaguin Grad Flowers, our yearly customer appreciation day food and giveaways, Taylor Hincks, Trout Creek Booster Club, KNR Ranch and many more!

If we can't donate to you this year we'll keep you in mind for next year. We do try our best to help out when we can.

We'll be hosting some mountain trail challenges this year.

First one June 30th!

They will be very welcoming shows that will start off nice and simple and become more challenging as the shows progress. Ribbons to 5th with awesome year end awards. Registration due by end of day Saturday June 22nd. If need a form let us know and we'll send it over. If we can get our act together in this heat we will try to get the online form up and running 😅🥵.

Shows will be at 433 McCarthy Street Trout Creek.

Well we've made it to Wednesday...when you're not feeling it so you go out to pet an emu 😅🤣. Thank goodness for emus 🤗.

Our remaining started veggies are on sale - just a few pepper plants and odds and ends left. $1/each in stock items only. Our nurseries are sold out so no replenishing.

Our hearts are broken 💔

Miss Stormie Waters crossed the rainbow bridge today. It's absolutely devastating as anyone that has fur babies know. All we can hope for is she is with her family, Sarge ( her older brother King Sheppard), Deet (white long haired goddess at least she thought she was) and Grimm (handsome large black cat forever 2 years old 😭).

Hug your babies today as you'll never know what tomorrow brings. 💔💔

Happy Thursday!

We are getting down in flowers so we will have everything in one greenhouse but we still have some great flowers available 😀. The perennials are starting to come out and are so gorgeous 😍 also some beautiful annuals still available. Come check it out for a pop of colour to add to your baskets or garden or invest in some perennials. And of course a Gracie Pants is always around 🐶.

Happy Wednesday!

Today's temperature 🌡 is a hot one!

So we are asking people that are picking up chicks and chickens today (all are pre-sold) be prompt! We do our best to keep chicks and chickens comfortable but with this heat we need to think about ourselves as well! Everyone should have received a call/message with time so we'll see you later this morning!

We added up the donated BBQ money and vendor money from the event on Saturday, total $905.45 and of course we'll match that so the total going to the Trout Creek Booster Club is $1,810.90!

Just want to send out a huge THANK YOU to our customers, vendors, volunteers, family and employees ❤️! Yesterday was busy and we saw a bunch of people bring home new additions. We thank you for your patience yesterday. We do have the best customers and enjoy having the BBQ as a little appreciation for your continued patronage.

Northern Comfort Modular Homes - Joe Bennett - brought over chairs and tables for the BBQ, Jones' Feed Mill sent up our amazing feed rep Bert with Black Creek sausages for the BBQ as well as brochures, hats, notepads and pens, Kane Vet dropped off a bunch of dog treats, shampoos and dog toys for giveaways, Quality Seeds sent up a bunch of ball caps for giveaways!

We know we say this every year but we had the best helpers! Bert Pletsch, Sandy MacDonald and Cecil Moore ran the BBQ area, Bonnie and Peter Loy and Amanda LaRonde directed traffic and made runs for extra food, Mikayla Peel, Jeff Guenard and Logan Steward showed their muscles and helped people out in the yard, Jerome Conrad and Lianne Moore worked the greenhouses like seasoned pros, Sherry MacDonald made the rounds helping at each spot and keeping us fed!

Amanda Guenard! She's the glue that keeps this place going! (I know we have a bunch of Amanda's but that just makes it easier for Alex to remember names). Amanda treats customers so well, she's funny and thoughtful and just amazing to be around! Forever thankful to have my much older MUCH OLDER sister here!

Saturday! It begins!
Starting to sound like a farm around here!!

Ready to lays, goats, ducks, meat rabbits, Sugarstone Maple Syrup, Arnstein Gospel Hall and more already here. Cecil and Sandy are setting up BBQ and getting ready for the 1030am start!

Saturday May 25th is the day you'll want to be here! Trout Creek Feed Store! Rain or shine! Vendors will be bringing goats, chicks, chickens, rabbits, ducks, quails and more. Plus we have some non livestock vendors coming bringing handbags, gift ware and more.

Note to all coming:
•Only vendors will be allowed in before 8:30am.
•No cat/dog sales or giveaways on site.
•Buyer beware - if you think the animal doesn't look good do not buy it. Remember bio security measures when taking any critter home.
•vendors will be setup for viewing/buying 8:30am - 1pm or until they are sold out.
•Vendors if needing a table/tent remember to bring one.
•BBQ starts at 1030am. It's a free BBQ. We will have a donation container if you would like to give a donation that goes to the Trout Creek Booster Club this year.
•We will be having our sales inside the store, some sales will be 10% off livestock feed (limited to 15 bags with the discount), decorative flower pots will be buy 1 get 1 free, soils and mulches will be on sale (range $2 - $5/bag) and more. Only on in stock items, regular priced items! Special order items or items already discounted no additional discount.
•no parking in front of trailers please. We need to keep a space for people to drive through the yard.
