My first attempt at the Loren bag from Vasile and Pavel is complete! (Strap to come, it’s nothing fancy). Took it on the road to get some better photos, so you lovely people can see what it’s looking like when I make it ☺️.

The body of the bag is an oil tanned leather, the straps and accent leather is veg tan. Black hardware polishes off the look.

I’ll have a “first try” one of these ready in the next few days. It’s not this colour, it’s a burgundy and dark brown combo. I don’t usually sell my first tries as they don’t reflect what I CAN do, with practice. But this one is so close to correct it seems a shame to not offer it out to people who follow me and my little hobby ☺️. Price wise I’m thinking 50% discount of what they will be.

Thanks goes out to for the great pattern. My bags up to now have been self-designed from things I have seen or can dream up, but making someone else’s pattern, with full permissions, allows me to push myself beyond what I can currently design on my own.

Coming off the bench this week- a custom made ROUND leather collar. With a synthetic core to prevent moisture issues, this is a beautiful thing.

Now I keep picturing making cute little hand bags with round handles 👜. No rest for the crafty types.

At the East Coast Artisans Spring Market I chatted with a gentleman about a bag he wanted made. He has specific requirements for size, and wanted it to highlight the life before it became leather.

After much designing, discussions and debilitating hand cramping- it’s done. The ranch brand is front and centre and absolutely lovely. This bag is MASSIVE at 18” wide and 5” deep!!

Made to my normal exhaustive obsession on quality and durability, it’s only going to get more beautiful with use.

I love making and designing bags, whether you know exactly what you want or want me to help you dream it up- it’s all fun for me.

I am so happy to announce my show special for the Doggie Expo! All in stock collars, including those that can be personalized on-the-spot, will have their sale proceeds go to rescue coalitions!

Many moons ago I was able to foster for this small but mighty group, including a foster fail for my parents❤️

I’ve still got a couple weeks of prep time, I’d love to hear some ideas of what gift items you would hope to see on offer! Remember that every part of everything I make is custom and done manually, so please don’t say a leather backpack 😂. I’d need two weeks to knock out something as fabulous as that.

Excellent weekend of production, not a great day for photos! 💨 🥶

🎼 Two adjustable guitar straps, adjust from 40” to 60” to fit a wide variety of players.

👜 A crossbody bag (strap is in production) and the special thing about this bag is that it’s my own design! It’s not revolutionary, but it’s a handy little bag and I’m super proud.

These items and many others will be available at my upcoming tables, and as always, custom requests are encouraged!

Trying my hand at making a guitar strap, but I’m stuck on what colour to do the stitching! It’s a stock item so I can pick whatever I want, but obviously that means I don’t know 😆.

Please help and comment below what colour YOU would want it to be. The strap fits an acoustic guitar.
