We are letting our valued pet community know that Coastal Care will be closing to outpatients on Saturday, December 14th, at 4 pm and opening again Sunday, December 15th, at 7 am. This temporary closure is to allow the hard-working team members who cared for pets all year long, celebrate together, and have a much deserved break.

We have coordinated with Metro Animal Emergency Clinic and Maritime Veterinary Specialty and Emergency to oversee outpatients that need to be directed at that time. Please call either hospital if you have a pet related emergency.

As we have some patients that can not be transported or discharged, there will be an in-hospital doctor and technician tending to ONLY hospitalized pets. We appreciate those dedicated staff that answer to the call of duty despite missing out on the fun.

We appreciate your understanding during this short closure, and we will resume normal services on Sunday morning at 7 am.

We are ready to take some Christmas Pet Photos! Join us from 1-3 this afternoon!

We are excited to announce that our next Christmas Pet Photo session will be held this Saturday, December 14th, from 1:00-3:00PM. We ask that you bring either a monetary or food donation to the food bank. They were very appreciate of all the donations from the last session, and mentioned that they are happy to accept items for pets as well (food, toys, new bedding and clothes). If there are any animals that are anxious, please come a bit early or just after 3:00. We want to be able to see everyone! As well, when you arrive, please check in inside prior to bringing in your pet. Can't wait to see everyone! Also, there will be bandanas from Rem's Rags for sale again. They are cash only, and $15.00 for the small sizes and $20.00 for the larger sizes. This helps support a local small business!

We have to admit the newest team member was hired based solely on her looks and cuddle factor. Meet Willow! She was just adopted by Candice, our fantastic Customer Service Representative. Willow will be here with us as she adjusts to her new life. We love her to bits!

Tis the holiday season! We have been open since April and have loved meeting all of our new clients. To allow our staff a much needed break, we will be closed the week of Christmas (December 23rd to 27th). Please make sure you have all the medications and food you need for over the break! Our last day of normal hours is December 20th, and we will return at 8AM on December 30th!

Hello! Our debit machine is down this morning. We are working hard to get it fixed, but at this time we are able to accept CASH and Credit Cards only. We sincerely apologize, we know this is a complete inconvenience.

Good news (sort of) - we can now take payment by credit card as well. We are still unable to accept payment by debit.
