Every morning and evening walk we are looking for these two friends. I hope you are keeping them in your minds as well when you are out and about.

Amazing news they have both been found! I'll be getting more details later.

2 Dogs went missing November 8th, 2021 Turcotte Rd/Sulphide Rd, Tweed, Ontario

Male tri-colour beagle named Wishbone and a female brown and white bassett/beagle named Kallie.

If you see them please take a picture and take note of the direction they are traveling.

**Owner has been given some tips and how to find more pages to post, particularly north in heavy hunting areas in case. These dogs are NOT at Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward, they are not already posted as found (all leads here have been checked out by owners), and has also been given the Ontario Deerhound Assoc tip. There have been NO sightings locally so no matter where you live, please share. That share can come around to someone in an area that has seen them. We recently had a dog go missing quite a distance north of here that ended up in Belleville area, so things definitely happen!

This Moose fella remains on our minds. I have such strong faith with the army in his side that he will be reunited with Shelley. The family he loves miss him so much, our dog loving hearts ache for all of them.

This breed absolutely is strong enough to be surviving out there so I hope everyone is also actively looking for him when out and about, whatever time of day and wherever you live.
Let’s get him home!

The fire department has been good enough to give a heads up of the time of the fireworks display tonight. They will be going off between 7:25-8pm Friday September 24th by the lake in Tweed. I always count on some add-ons and just call it a night of fireworks.

You know your dog best so do your best to prevent any Friday evening firework issues with your best friend and prepare! If evening is your normal dog walking time perhaps not tonight, and if you insist on being out with your dog or you feel your dog will not react please still make sure their collar is snug and there is NO chance they can back out of it on you, just in case they are suddenly spooked you will have control. Don't let the kids hold the leash and make sure you are holding it well, no bolting possible. Keep your distance and keep everybody happy & safe. Enjoy the Tweed Harvest Festival weekend everyone!
