So this little gem is up for adoption.
Type : Dragon Scale Betta, Male
Original health concerns : lethargic, unable to find or eat food readily, mild swim bladder and bloating issues/constipation. Very pale looking.
Now : Gets very excited at meal time, major glow up, can find food much easier but it is highly recommended that he has a bare bottom tank because he misses most of his food and than searches for it. If he has gravel it may greatly reduce his ability to eat adequately. Otherwise major food rotting will also happen he really needs to be kept in this setting so that he can find pieces he's missed. A slower current is recommended like an aquaclear.
Likes : His red plastic plants that is his absolute favorite and should be purchased with him at retail cost.

Those are the only toys he interacts with so far.
Comes with his cycled water. And filter media.
Will need to be kept in a large homedepo bucket for travel.
Personality : Very laid back. Likes to swim around and play in his hides by swimming through them regularly vs too much glass surfing.
Haven't ever seen him build a nest or flare.
He likes it when you come to the tank to say even without feeding. Should be kept in a room that is busy where you spend most of your time. But not in sunlight.
Requirements: a pre set heater, aquaclear filter since it's gentler and has the media I use, a 5 gallon minimum tank size, prime and stabilizer water treatment.

Willing to deliver to nearby areas like Surrey bc to North shore ect.
Will need to see proof of items.
Tanks should be long and wide. Not so much tall. Bettas need space to swim and up vertically is like placing them in a closet.
Bettas become depressed and mentally unwell in those conditions and will have a much shorter life span.
