Happy first birthday to our “C” litter. You have spread out all the way from BC to NL to PA. Brooke, Chelsea, Chloe, Congo, Gauge, Hector, Juniper, Kunik, and R***r. Please keep up with all of the photos and updates. We love and miss all of you!

Hi everyone! We are going to start holding retrieving practice on Wednesday nights from 6-8pm. Each week we will set up some scenarios in the field and water that meet our levels and goals. We will all work as training partners to make sure that everyone’s dog gets their turn.

There will be a nominal cost to cover some of the mowing and pond maintenance. Please let me know if you’re interested in participating and we will invite you to a private group where we will coordinate.

Big day for our gang at the Bluenose Chapter of NAVHDA Spring test. Chloe and Jasmine earned a Natural Ability Prize 2, and Api and Kim earned a Utility Preparatory Test Prize 3. We are very proud of both teams and appreciate all of the hard work that went into preparing for these tests.

This weekend was a first for Felix and I as we headed to .river.gsp for our first dip into the gundog world with a seminar by Elsa Blomster. It was a great weekend with tonnes of information and new skills to learn. I think both of us used all our brain cells. I especially enjoyed the casting and whistle stop which we will definitely be practicing to add distance.
