If you’ve filled out an application feel free to send me enclosure and supply photos to my instagram or email as pups will go to adopters who are properly prepared.
I won’t be contacting everyone from the application list as far too many people do not reply and I’m not about that in 2024 🐹🫶

The “Chicken Litter” female hamster pups! Momma 🐹 Three had 3 female Rex yellow based ladies so a ⭐️ for her!
Lemon and Tweety will be staying here most likely as I LOVE them!
Lemon had a little scratch on her nose but it healed up within a day so nothing concerning! Pups will be pups, they trip over themselves and sleep in walkways so I’m not surprised 🙈

Three’s “Chicken Little” litter is here!
These are the male hamster pups- and yes I’m having a hard time deciding about keeping Kentucky or not as I’m such a sucker for yellow boi’s 🙈 (but I’m trying to hold strong!)
Last up is little Rhodie, he is the runt that is such a trooper! His new fur is coming in white but he is actually a rust and should get his proper color coat in as he gets older! Yay Rhodie!!

There are 2 black tort and 2 golden tort females, then one chocolate and one rust male!

These two were separated the other day (at just over 7 weeks old). There were no issues between them yet but I noticed they weren’t inseparable like they had been even the day before which is a sign their mature solitary nature was inevitable!
Animal behaviour is very important to be mindful of as that is their primary form of communication; and something I find fascinating 😍

The s*x of SOME (👀) hamsters can be easily identified while others can be easily MIS-identified; which often happens at pet stores so beware!
Here are some tips if you’re not sure what you have 👇
•Males do not have ni***es; if there are ni***es you can be sure you have a female
•Hair length in longhair hamsters is influenced by testosterone levels! If you hamster has a full long skirt it is a male, whereas ear-whisps and bum-fluff is more likely to be a female (but can be a male with a poor coat)
•Trouble puffs, wrinkle berries, s***m spheres- whatever you call them (aka testicles), can be very visible on some males (especially when warm), and not as visible on others; so do not rely on the easily identified presence of them!
These are just a few tips I don’t see as often and thought I’d share!
I also wanted to add that genitalia is not what makes humans either a “boy” or “girl” and I don’t promote pressure conform to gender stereotypes 🏳️🌈

The females of Maple’s Canadian themed litter!
I never explain theme names but definitely ask questions below if you have no clue what these are of course! I almost named one “bunnyhug” which is region specific if even Canadians know what that is!

First up are the males of Maple’s Canadian themed litter!
I think I’ll post about their colors in my stories later today or tomorrow so I can put it in the genetics highlights!
Moose is my fave male, I don’t need a male from the litter but he is possibly staying here 🙈

Can you tell which are grandma Astrid and which are Mumma Maple??
First two are 🐹 Astrid, last two are 🐹 Maple! They are both chocolate tortoiseshell longhair females!
Maple’s litter has had a few losses which does happen with very large litters, but the pups and mum are otherwise doing well now and will have eyes open soon ready to make their IG debut!!

🐹Mr. Business appreciation pics coming in! I love this bu**er; he is always so interested in what I’m doing and is always ready to be held but is quite enclosure content. His type of temperament is really what I strive for with the hamsters! I never have to worry about him and I really appreciate that! 💛

🐹 RETIREES
1. Cloverline’s Gudetama is a melanistic yellow longhair male, he is enclosure content and a big boy but less interested in humans than the other hams
2. Silversage’s Biscoff is a rust tortoiseshell longhair female that will only go to an experienced handler
3. Hubba Hubba’s Pumpkin is a rust longhair male, super cute but atrocious hygiene 🤭 he enjoys nesting in his p*e corner so needs regular enclosure spot cleaning
4. Cloverline’s Cruller is a golden Rex longhair female that is a sweetheart but just not getting to size and is also a bit less enclosure content than I prefer in a breeding female
5. Silversage’s Ms. Frizzle is a rust tortoishell Rex female, I am on the fence about breeding her atm; she is not enclosure content and is not as good in hand as I prefer for a breeding female but we will see what I decide
6. Cloverline’s Maleficent is a black longhair female, also a bit less enclosure content than I prefer in a breeding hamster. I am planning to use her brother Puff for a few litters so it is less useful to have her doubling up the genes of that litter, but she’s a nice gal for sure
7. Hubba Hubba’s Peppermint is a black tortoiseshell longhair rex female, peppermint is easy to handle and enjoys eating all enclosures so I would recommend a large tank only for her

Most likely will be called Three, 3AM is a black tortoiseshell rex and thanks to her recent increased food intake she has sure grown! She’ll be staying here. This girl is so photogenic so there are lots of extra pics added for everyone’s enjoyment!!
As for the name, it is bean related and a saying that has stuck in my brain for a looooong time now!

Mome Rath’s Males! Name cringe incoming 🤭
🫘Toby, shortened from toe-beans, is a golden longhair rex this is cute as a button and all floof
🫘Edamame (who does have two normal ears I swear 😅), is a rust longhair rex and he has the lightest coat of the rusts which is how I can tell him apart
🫘Pimento, okay yes a pimento is NOT a bean it’s a pepper. I keep calling this fella Potato like .hams chocolate longhair rex so I had to pick a name similar for my wee brain to use so we’ll let it slide, right?
🫘Franken, short for Frank and beans, is a lovely rust longhair rex and is one of the tougher to tell apart from his bigger bro up next
🫘Beanbag is rust longhair rex, he earned this name from often having full cheeks and always having a nice full belly! This guy is a possible keeper
🫘Mr. Bean, as of course a son of Mr. Business needed a title name! This big curly golden longhair rex is my other possible keeper
🫘Jellybean is last up, he’s a rust longhair and the only non-rex male of the litter! He is a sweetheart so the name is quite fitting!
One more photogenic little miss left and the litter is all introduced!

Four Golden Tortoiseshell longhair females are first up for Mome Rath’s bean-themed litter!
🫘Garbanzo is the biggest, and I like how in her photo you can see the tortoishell on her back, torts aren’t always easy to spot on agouti based colours
🫘Bertie, as in Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans, is the only Rex of this group. She is a lovely girl and is a possible keeper
🫘Lima is next up, she is the most cautious of the litter but sure enjoys her treats and sticks close to her mum
🫘Pinto is the smallest of the litter, and I think she is somehow part monkey! This girl is a climber and so coordinated, it’s quite impressive tbh
Stay tuned for some real cringe-worthy names, those are generally my favourite kind 💯
