Bundle up and get on those horses! If the footing is good, a ride is a ride and there are always things to work on! At Écuries Aster Stables, we ride year round to keep our horses and ourselves fit and moving. If you're a parent and not sure how to dress your kids for lessons, don't hesitate to ask us for advice! We have perfected the winter riding outfit through years of trial and error! Happy trails!

The cold weather is just beginning! Forget fashion, make sure you or your kid is dressed warmly for riding lessons so they aren't miserable! Ask your coach for advice if you're not sure what's appropriate.

We had a great day at the Écuries de la Cadence Stables schooling show yesterday! Bella impressed the judge and won first place in both of her cross-rails classes, second in the under saddle class, and 4th in 2'3" jumpers, ridden by owner and trainer Isabelle. Bella then went on to earn two more red ribbons for rider Mataya Collicott, one of our most dedicated students! Mataya is in her second year of lessons at Écuries Aster Stables and this was her first ever show - she performed impeccably in Command and Pleasure classes and we're very proud of how far she has come! We could not be happier with our Little Miss Sassy Pants, aka, Bella, our little green pony!

It is with great joy that I announce that as the instructor at Écuries Aster Stables, I am now certified to teach jumping lessons! With this addition to our program, we've decided to review our policies (changes have been highlighted). We very much look forward to seeing our more experienced riders take their skills to new heights!

Happy Victoria's Day everyone! I've taken advantage of this time to complete some training required for my involvement as a volunteer at the Fredericton Therapeutic Riding Association. The courses were quite interesting and I look forward to using my newly acquired knowledge with students! *Side note: I only have a few spaces left for beginner riding lessons this summer, so if you or anyone you know is interested, please contact us as soon as possible.
