Merrylegs and Shorebird White-Winged Dove are trying something new! Yesterday they competed and qualified in their first Rally Novice Obedience Trial at Top Dogs Training Academy in Komoka! Dove is our sweet home-bred from the March 2021 litter (Merrylegs Will Raise the Standard X Gardenpath Dark Horse). Top Dogs did a fabulous job of running the show! Thank you to all the volunteers, Judge Lorraine Purnell and to my training coach Lindsay Joseph.
We are thrilled to announce that Shorebird Snowy Owl, aka River, just earned his PCD Title at the North York Trial under Judge Ted Leslie. Congratulations to Andy Mand. River is out of the Merrylegs Will Raise the Standard X Hillwood Arquette litter born January 30, 2023.
After thoroughly searching 6 vehicles, Merrylegs rose to the challenge and won her first very challenging leg towards her Elite Vehicle Title in Nosework with The United Kennel Club. Thank you to the United Kennel Club, the Canine Companion Training Academy, the Judges, Show Secretary and volunteers that made this show possible. I love my plucky little poodle with the big heart ❤️❤️❤️

Merrylegs was the most wonderful Mother who always knew exactly what to do. She had 3 large litters and never lost a puppy. Merry was always loving, concerned, protective and careful with her puppies. She was also a lot of fun to work with! I love my plucky little poodle with the big heart. ❤❤❤

In November, 2023, Merrylegs competed in a Barn Hunt Trial at Canine Companion Training Academy. Merry quickly scented out the rat and was rewarded with her RATI title! 🐀🐀🐀

We are happy to announce that Merrylegs passed her Barn Hunt Instinct Test this weekend. Thank you to everyone at Canine Companion Training Academy for putting the trial on and Judge Richard Myers. The dogs enjoyed hunting for rats!

Merrylegs spent the weekend at a UKC Nosework Trial at Canine Companion Training Academy. The wind made it challenging! Merry earned her Master Nosework title and Elite Exterior title. Thanks to all the judges and everyone who helped out! Love this plucky little poodle with the big heart!
Piper went to a UKC show in September at Oxford Dog Sports Incorporated and showed in Conformation. She did very well and enjoyed the show! Love this little lady! Thank you to the Judges and the Club for putting on such a nice show. Thank you Amanda for the lovely booster gifts. Piper is working on getting her UKC Championship in a MCC (Modified Continental Clip).

Our beautiful Sandy (Shorebird Purple Sandpiper) lost her ball at the beach today. She was very disappointed she did not get to retrieve. She is a nice, big, strong, fun, active girl that loves the water!
