Basic for modifying or changing a behavior: 1) Look at the stimulus, what evoked the behavior. Is it a man walking by or is it a man walking by with a hat on. Being specific about your observation will help you make a better training plan. 2) What is the behavior and what would you like the dog to do instead? 3) What consequence follows the behavior? Is it reinforcing for the dog? The consequence following the behavior will dictate if the stimulus will evoke that behavior again in the future or not. Pablo’s Love Story

While on a road trip to Mexico, I stumbled upon a dog with 6 puppies on the street. I fell for Pablo straight away and brought him home with me. I always loved taking care of my pets and my friends’s dogs but Pablo made me discover a passion for dog training. With all my experiences caring for pets and making sure they get enough exercise and mental stimulation I decided to start On Leash and help others make sure their dog stays happy and healthy.
