Siamese Cats fur is often cream-coloured or white but they will have distinct, darker ears, face, paws and tails. Have you ever wondered where they get their striking markings?

Their dark colour actually comes from a gene that is trying to regulate the cat’s body temperature. Their torso often stays light because of their organs, heart, and muscles that create natural warmth. Areas such as their face and tail darken to retain more heat because they are further away from the torso.
