Solar Flare Reptiles Story

I decided to get Solar Flare Reptiles going on the fact my main business, Northern Lights Reptile Imports, caters to customers and not my personal pets. My reptile hobby is what got me into my NLRI business, so, it only made sense to make a "prequel" page to show my pets at home. Solar Flares create the Northern Lights, so what better name than Solar Flare Reptiles?!

I consider myself to be a bit more unique than most. I keep a very small amount of herptiles in substantial sized enclosures. I work with species that desperately need to be focused on and learned about. For example, my main "star" of my pets are the Chronius scurrulus, also known as the Waglers Sipo or Fire Snake. All to often they get imported and due to people not doing any research or understanding stress, they sadly do not make it past a couple months. I'm proud to say the one I've had the longest, has surpassed the 1.25 year mark. I have learned an incredible amount already on these beautiful snakes and gladly share this knowledge with others to allow success to continue.

With this concept of what I keep, I loosely consider my reptile room an "invisible ark" where I bring species in to focus on them exclusively. Many people tend to gather towards these particular individuals, so encouraging knowledge and learning about them to captive produce, will over time help the entirety of the species kept here.

I will post photos, videos and updates on what resides here, and hope you can learn about them too and how beautiful they are!
