How quickly things change in rescue.
Sunday, Crackers continued to have more (albeit less severe) seizures. She returned to Pulse Veterinary Specialists & Emergency and was put on anti seizure medication and had a consult with a neurologist. It was agreed that an MRI with a kitten of Crackers’s size would be risky so we will continue her on anti seizure medications until she is older then wean her off of them. If the seizures continue at that point, we will revisit further testing. We are happy to report that Crackers is back in her foster home and doing well. It was noted she has some inflammation and redness on her eye so she is currently getting eye drops on top of her anti seizure medication (every 8 hours).
Thank you so much to everyone who came out today to our open house! We have some very tired kitties in the shelter tonight 💜
