You've seen Finn here before. I am so proud of him and his human!! Finn started with Liza at @focusdogs to get the tools and knowledge need to help with Finn's excitement when he sees other dogs. He and his human have put in so much hard work, and brought Rad Beast and Mandy on board to get some extra time and training in.
Finn has come leaps and bounds (actually less leaping and bounding... which was the goal) and is becoming much more polite on leash!
(I throw treats on the ground because Finn has a habit of grabbing treats hard, but still needs quick effective treat delivery!)

Easy Breezy Beautiful.... NOELLE!
Have you heard of Trigger Stacking? Basically, your dog may be ok with one the following: loud traffic, wind, barking dogs, hats, umbrellas, rain, construction etc. But if you have a couple, or all of them, things become very overwhelming, especially for puppies!
If your dog seems especially stressed or reactive, take a look around, do some problem solving and low stress, less trigger-y exposure!

Fishing with Otto!
This is the "Connection Game" we learned from our friends over at @nikiperryanimaltraining .
We use this game as Otto can get a bit barky/lungy on leash when other dogs are in his space. This distracts him and they are able to pass by without being yelled at. We also play this game when Otto finds something super high value that he doesn't want to give up.
We use a "yes" as a reward marker for looking back to me! (I don't have enough hands or coordination for a clicker)

Derby's humans mentioned to me how much he's improved on leash since we started walking! And we are all so proud of him! Good job, Derby!
