If you’re looking for the perfect combination of cow and run, this is it! His momma always throws a dynamite baby and he’s no exception. Her last foal went to one of the top ropers in the country. His sire is my running stud, he’s got a packed pedigree and was headed for the track when an injury cut his career short. However his foals are level headed, long strided and big lookers!

This guy makes it hard to let go of the babies!
Linage to Runaway Winner, Corona Cartel, Corona Caliente, Six Fols, Haidalena War Doc and Ju N Badge….he’s going to a major contender in the rodeo arena.
He’s correct, sound and gorgeous. He’s registered brown but is nearly black. He should finish out between 14.3 and 15 hands.
I’ve been hanging on to my c**ts wanting to make geldings out of them but I don’t have the time. However if he doesn’t go, I will make a gelding out of him and he will bring a lot more $.

So I was contemplating whether or not to post about the losses, but I think it’s important to share the highs and lows in this business.
About a month ago I lost a really nice broodmare and a few days later her beautiful c**t. Reba was a granddaughter of one of the best mares I’ve ever been had the honour to ride. She tried to give me a big flashy c**t but he was just too big and she died after foaling. I thought I had a bottle baby and tried my best to keep the c**t alive but just couldn’t.
I’m writing this as I’m doctoring my gelding who figured I needed a patient and ripped his chest open - he did this just a week before I lost Reba. Of course don’t forget I lost a c**t earlier this summer to lightning.
It’s been a year.
Between the vet bills, the time spent, the worry, tears and stress I wouldn’t change a damn thing. This world of breeding is not for the faint hearted, I’m so thankful every day I get to have these incredible creatures in my life again!
Us horse lovers are truly a special kind crazy to allow ourselves to be put through the wringer like this and still come back back wanting more.
Thank God for the people in my life who choose to go through the wringer with me 🥹😍🐎💰🙈

My running bred mare blessed me with a colt! What an awesome cross this is! All run - Dash for Cash and Special Effort on the bottom and Two Eyed Jack on the top. He’s going to be big, nice minded with a beautiful long hip. Take him in the barrel patch or the roping pen, he will be able to go any direction.

It was weaning day yesterday! Super excited to see these three rockstars grow up! All out of Five A Jacks, an amazing buckskin stud that stood at MBAR Quarter Horses.
