Madison DeLeeuw Horsemanship & Performance Horses Madison Deleeuw offers a program that best suits the horse and rider, Always a student of the horse. So, a bit about me; I got my first horse when I was six.

My goal as a horse trainer is to offer a program that suits you best according to you and your horses needs. I believe it is important to both educate and teach horseman, along with train their horse, so they can work together as team. I would say my philosophy of training is a fair but firm approach, with an emphasis on making horses soft, supple, and well-rounded. I think I covered every square

inch on our farm with that horse. When I was thirteen, I met Jaqulene See (Poplar Ridge Ranch), who gave me lessons, which led to an apprenticeship lasting four years. Two years in, I started working my own client horses. I did c**t starting, problem solving, tune-ups, fine tuning, and performance. I also taught my own lessons (single and group), helped run four day horse summer camps and weekend clinics. I’ve also participated in Poplar Ridge Performance Club. In 2020, I competed in Rocking Heart Ranch’s C**t Starting Challenge, which I placed first in as the youngest champion in the challenge’s history. Now, I am running my own business, “Madison Deleeuw Horsemanship & Performance horses”. My facility is located in Carrot Creek on Jaydel farms (Feedlot operation). With the help of my husband, we set up an indoor barn with six 12’x12’ stalls with 3/4 inch rubber matts (providing grip and cushioning for your horse), automatic water bowls in each stall, and the barn is also heated for the duration of Winter. We have a 60 ft steel Hi Hog round pen (specially designed for safety of horse and rider) with a hard packed clay base with 4-5 inches sand. Our outdoor arena is 125x200 with a hard packed clay base and 3-4 inches sand on top providing good ground for stopping. SERVICES

North Country Select put on an awesome sale, all the horses in the sale were top notch horses. I got the pleasure to ride one of the high sellers for a few minutes and so much fun 😂.

Milo 4 year old grade gelding, his sire is Pass ‘em up Royal, dash for cash stud. His mom was a grade ranch mare.

Milo was started as a 2 year old and worked on and off until last fall when he started getting worked every day. Milo has a quiet attitude his first ride was after 20 minutes of ground work bear-back in a halter. I have owned him his entire life and he’s always had a quiet more whoa then go attitude. He’s been used in the feedlot the last few months. He’s loaded trucks, loaded cattle onto the scale and help sort. He’s never been roped off of, but I have swung a rope off him and drug things a little bit. He doesn’t have a ton of interest in working cows but makes a good ranch horse. He has been started on barrels and he loves it, he just eats the second barrel, he hasn’t been pushed hard just letting him lope through and figure out his leads. He rides out good on his own or in a group. He has all the buttons, hips shoulders side pass, open and shut gates on him, pick what lead you want. He has been used in my lesson program with confident beginners and intermediate students, I will not say he should be for a beginner as he does need someone to tune him up a bit as he can throw a crow hop and get a little ignorant when he’s had a few days off but he is quick to smarten up and if rode a few days a week he is a hop on and go. He loads good (he loads in my 2 horse straight haul and backs out) He has been hauled a decent bit, he has come with me on 10 hr round trips and handled them well. He’s not a spooky horse. I trusted him to take my 11 month daughter for a little ride. He is easy to catch and pony’s off a quad.
He is good for the farrier and up to date. He is up to date on dewormer. He has never had his teeth done, he has had 1 vet trip when he was around one as he had a cut in his face that needed stitches and he was also castrated. He has a scar on his right hip from running into barbed wire as a baby. Both were minor. If you have any questions or would like to come out and see him please call

Edit- so He just turned 2 😂 I bought him off of Tyler Setzer not to long ago along with his half sister and both have the size and the brains, not to mention they are absolutely gorgeous. He has 1 more full brother to Zeek for sale. if your looking for something that’s smart and has the size don’t wait he’s the last one! Anyone want to guess how old this gelding is? He is to the top of my round pen and that’s about 6 feet tall and just for reference his dad was a registered paint and mom was a grade Qh with a tiny bit of thoroughbred. 😂 he’s huge
