just at freezing mark outdoors so not bad temp wise, but sneety out so some are in for day and others out in runin's with blankets on, Molly bit frisky so lunged her for a bit as she wanted to tease the boys today.

Springuary is awesome..... that is until I realized how much everyone is enjoying the mud :( guess time to get mud/curry combs out (well maybe a hay/curry one for Jenny) she gets coated in hay as the taller horses pull it out of ring and dump it on her. lol Bonus though, was able to be out in sweater with no coat or hat/mits. AWESOME for January springuary :)

with winter coming on we currently have a box stall $450 month and a couple spaces for run in board $300 month, we have 2 three sided run in shelters in 2 paddocks, heated outdoor water, rolls of hay put out weekly, use of indoor work ring, locker for boots/helmet etc, heated lounge area. Blanketing during storms if blanket/sheet provided.

just winter update post for all boarders :) any horses brought in after dark are welcome to be left in for night if it looks like an indoor type night (saves me having to go get them in later as once out they dont always want to come right back in ;), also only fill water buckets 1/2 to 3/4 full on nights below -10 as they just freeze before morning anyways. Frozen water buckets just put in tack room to thaw. Horses all can enter/exit through regular doors (unless tacked up) so only use big rollup door on days above freezing.
next farrier date for Aaron is Dec 17, will update when he gives me estimated time, if not able to be here just let me know and I'll have your horse(s) in for him to do them. after storms we may not have driveway plowed right away so street park with 4 way flashers for visibility. Any messages can be sent on here or leave note on white board in tack room. :) Thks Syl :)

Moved horses a bit this aft, now Taylor is babysitter and Nellie moved to Mare paddock, New boarder Oscar wearing muzzle to control how much the air fern eats ;) he is rather "round". And Ol Brandy getting to enjoy some grass in smaller paddock away from the riff raff ;)

Here at LB Ranch we cut and bale our own hay so no hay shortages or scrambling to find hay in mid winter. Currently we have one opening for stall board and one run in board space available.
