This little superstar pony had his last day of work before enjoying a well earned Winter Vacation. At 4 years he spent the last year learning the ropes and had a busy first show season with many amazing accomplishments. Now he gets to rest and grow up a bit more before we start him back up in the Spring for show season '25.

You are invited to a barn Pumpkin Carving Contest and Social! Bring a pumpkin or grab one of the extra ones at the barn. There will be snacks and goodies. We will be awarding prizes in three categories:
Best Halloween Costume
Most original pumpkin
Crowd Favourite pumpkin

Date: October 27th
Time: 1pm to 3pm
What to bring: A pumpkin and carving tools (extras will be provided for those who forget), your costume!

We had a big weekend here at DVG Equestrian!

First, we bid farewell to the amazing .eq1 and Midas as they head off to University. Sasha has been such a huge part of Team DVG and we are so incredibly sad to see her go, but excited for this next stage in life.

Next we have a big congrats for Madeleine MacPherson and her pony Watch me Neigh Neigh on some amazing rounds at the SSITS finals.

Finally, we got to welcome Lyric to the team. Huge congrats to .c.ralph_ on her new lease horse. So excited for what the two of you get up to!

Clover and I had so much fun playing around with cross country jumps. Love this big horse who is always up for an adventure. Our first time playing around with cross country and he nailed it. These easy adjustable jumps certainly helped.

It was a bittersweet week here at DVG Equestrian. We had to say goodbye to our sweet Who-Bear, but thankfully there is nothing quite like welcoming a new horse in the barn to lift the spirits.

So huge congrats to Jenna and the Landry family on the purchase of Zulu. I love helping kids find their first horse and I'm so excited for what these two have in the future.

Thanks for sharing your special girl with us. We love her so much already.

Staying on the grass as long as possible!

Fun horse jeopardy with the last session of our Spring Indigenous Youth program. Gonna miss these kiddos!

Our Indigenous Youth program was having way too much fun working on their balance with this I gallop. Pretty entertaining watching them too!

Today we had to say goodbye to our sweet and spicy Pebbles. She taught all of us so many lessons and was a huge part of the first 2 years of DVG Equestrian. I am so honored that we were able to fill her last years of life with love and Apple pears. She is irreplaceable and will be so incredibly missed. 💔
