Lilly’s Feathered Friends started as a small rescue in Kitchener, Ontario and has since blossomed into a full Rescue and Aviary with two locations across the Eastern side of Canada. With our main location now in Fredericton, NB and our secondary location in Kitchener, Ontario, Lilly’s offers a safe and loving environment for any and all feathered friends who are in need. All our rescue birds are v
et checked and put on healthy diets with lots of attention and love. Once these beautiful rescue birds are ready, Lilly’s Feathered Friends will either find them the perfect forever home or have them join our sanctuary. The aviary portion of Lilly’s is in a completely separate section away from all rescue birds for the health of our breeders and babies. All our babies come with a hatch certificate, care sheet, are handfed and raised around children. Depending on the species of bird, they will also come banded and fully vaccinated against Avian Polyomavirus. Please reach out to us if you have or know of a bird in need or are looking to add a feathered friend to your family.

Cockatiel Baby Available!
We do not breed cockatiel babies here at Lilly's, but I do know some of you have inquired about them. If anyone is still in search of a handtame baby cockatiel, I can highly recommend Pretty Bird Aviary. She currently has one remaining baby looking for a loving home! We are very proud to offer our first ever Ringneck baby hatched here at Lillys! This beauty is just finishing handfeeding and will hopefully be ready end of June. Little one is fully flighted, being weaned onto pellets and fresh foods, and is handtame. Please reach out for more details! 🥰

We are sadly parting with one half of our eclectus pair and will no longer be breeding eclectus parrots at the current time. This beautiful girl is approximately 8 years old. She will take treats from your hand but will need a lot of patience in order to earn her trust. She has laid 2 eggs each time a nest box was up but they were infertile (most likely the males fault). Eclectus parrots have very unique diets that consist mainly of fresh foods. If you're interested, please PM us!
Edit to add: A meet and greet is mandatory in order to ensure both parties (human and bird) and comfortable with each other.
Meet Melon! A 14 month old, handtame YellowSided Conure. She was hatched here at Lillys and was going to go back into the breeding program but she just wants to be a pet. She is sweet, a little shy, but extremely curious. She is fully flighted and loves to take a quick whirl around the house and come right back to your shoulder. She's not much for head scritches but would be thrilled to just hang out with you while you're doing your thing. Please reach out if interested.
Meet Romeo and Cyber! These two males are retired breeders who unfortunately lost their mates last year. They have now bonded with each other and share a cage. They are looking for their retirement home!
IMPORTANT NEWS UPDATE:
First off, I want to thank all my followers for your continued support and patience the last few months! Many of you received an auto "out of office" response on your messages but some of you may not have.
Due to unexpected health issues, I had to cancel this springs breeding season and have missed many messages. Things are finally taking a turn for the better and you will see this page becoming more active over the next few months!
We have a few birds that will be posted shortly looking for new homes and we will be opening our waitlist for our fall breeding season. (Coming in a secondary post)
Keep your eyes open for some new surprises coming as well!

I have four parent raised lovebird babies looking for new homes. Unfortunately due to health reasons (personal not theirs), I wasn't able to handfeed these babes, so they are not handtame yet. Now, before anyone gets too excited, all eggs are infertile (which isn't surprising as they have only been with us a few months and still getting into the swing of things lol) But this just shows that we are well on our way to future African Grey and Eclectus babies!!!! The AGs laid 3 eggs and the Ekkies laid 2! 🥳😍😍😍

Rescue News: We are beyond thrilled to share that our Second Chance Program had HUGE success over the last couple months! We had a total of 38 surrenders that came into the program so far this year and we are happy to say that ALL of them have officially found new homes! Thank you to everyone involved ❤️
