We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon for a perfect training session ❤️🐎
A great saturday spent at the barn!
Lots of lessons, some fun jumps, bathing ponies and cleaning tack!
Let’s gooo summer 2024!
Such a great lesson yesterday evening with Tenley and Paige!
Keep up the great work guys!!
We are loving our new lesson horse, Pixie! Of course the biggest thanks to Marie and Mahek for letting us use their sweet girly 🥰
Tenley had an awesome lesson on her tonight, and we were even able to get some ride time in the outdoor ring.
Yay! Spring is finally here!!
Trying out our new addition to the lesson program, Pixie!
A big thanks to Marie and Mahek for allowing us to ride her in our lessons. She’s a very fun ride, and will be making our students very happy!
It’s so rewarding seeing our younger students continue their progression as riders, despite the cold weather, they always come ready for anything!
Well that’s a wrap on our honeymoon!
After some great days spent in the hot sun, Fogt Equestrian is back and ready to make the most of the upcoming spring training season
Please feel free to message and inquire for any lessons or training rates!
Also note, as long as you have a working facility, we are happy to provide at-home training services
Practice makes perfect so let’s make the most out of 2024
Well that’s a wrap for our Winter Riding Camp 2023
A good few days filled with fun, games and of course lots of horse time!
A big thanks to everyone who helped make each day run smoothly!
While we’ve been busy with lessons the last couple weeks, we can’t forget about the beautiful sunny days that make for the best type of rides 😍🐎
When you’re trying to get pics of a chestnut mare, but she needs to choose the angle
Happy Thanksgiving Day from Fogt Equestrian!
This year, we are extremely thankful to all our supporters, clients and lesson students who make our dream possible
Today especially, our head trainer, Jenny, is very thankful to get a chance to hop on our lesson horse Quincy for a spin!
Quincy loves to get the chance to stretch those ex-race horse legs again!
Please feel free to inquire for any training or lesson services
At Fogt Equestrian, we aim to make every ride a great experience!
At Fogt Equestrian, we TRAIN our horses to do both!
If they can jump an oxer, they should be able to trot quietly on a line, and steer around a pylon!
So instead of “get yourself a horse that can do both”, send your horse to us! And we will train you a horse that can do both!
If you have any questions, please message or comment!
We currently have 1 open spot for training, and the best part is, we come to you!
Spots fill up fast, so be sure to book now!
What’s the best way to end off a day full of coaching, and training?
A gallop up to the best view 😍🐎
Not too shabby for a 4 yr ottb to be teaching a 9 yr old!
Despite all the lessons Quincy does, she loves her kids, and Kendall is no exception!
Kendall has been making massive improvements in her lessons and we can wait to see how their journey together progresses!
Of course we always love to finish our rides with some work out in the grass!
The best cool downs will involve allowing your horse to move freely while getting out of the ring.
Our favourite cool down is riding up and down the hillside.
It helps with muscle strengthening, stretching as well as a much needed brain break after focusing so hard in the ring!
Well, after needing some time off due to an elbow injury, as well as celebrating our wedding, We at Fogt Equestrian are so happy to be back doing what we love!
Making dreams come true, and riding some ponies too!
We offer training and coaching services for a variety of horses and students!
Feel free to PM if you want to brush up on your skills, or get your horse back up to par!
New shoes for the diva today!
Can’t thank Sam, and his farrier services enough for all the effort that’s put into our horses feet!
Some great riding from Caitlin Naomi from her lesson on Quincy
For her first lesson on the Q girl, Caitlin very quickly was able to adjust her riding and synchronize with Quincys movements.
These guys ended off the evening’s lesson on a great note! Despite they’re both opposites of each other, they work so well together!
Keep up with good work Caitlin 🐎 💪
I’m lucky enough to have the funniest, most supportive, and soon to be husband to help with the upkeep of our sale horse at Fogt Equestrain while I’m out of commission for the next couple weeks
Quincy, our top sale horse, an extremely talented mare with loads of upper level potential never skips a beat, regardless who’s working her!
Please PM if you’re interested in getting more information on her.
As Sven put it, “ with horses trained at Fogt Equestrian, anybody can do it!” Sven-Derik Fogt
So happy to have such great ponies to work with on a beautiful sunny morning!
Of course, we can never forget our best barn puppers!
It was a productive day for Fogt Equestrian today!
We started the day off with Starla showing us her talent in ground tying! This little foal has come a long way from when we started with her!
To add, her big sister Willa, rode beautifully today during her schooling and is starting to show off her frame in our training sessions 💪
SmokeShow had a great schooling on the grass and is really starting to pull his trot together.
Miss Odds has been doing wonderfully in her restart training undersaddle and has begun to trot undersaddle as of today!
And of course we can’t forget about Prince, who got a new makeover after his siblings’ training sessions.
Lastly, Quincy was a powerhouse machine today over some pole work. She always puts so much effort in and it is so rewarding to see it start to pay off with rides like today.
Overall a great 10/10 day of training, all the horses put their best hoof forward today!
Quincy kicking off her week with some cuteness 🥰
Fogt Equestrian is excited to announce we have 1 spot left for full time training.

Happy riding folks!
I am so beyond proud of Quincy aka TIZWIZ today
She accomplished her first show, and only being a 4 yo she jumped every new and scary looking fence and rode lovely in her flat classes! Such a great first show for the baby
She is a very hardworking horse, and tries her best to please her rider!
She’s definitely earned lots of mints, and a mini vacay!
These are the smiles that make it all worth it!
Today Tricia Barbara got to sit on her horse for the first time ever!
Tricia has never been on a horse, and what better way to hop on for the first time on your own horse!
Smokey has been excelling with his training and gave me no doubt in my mind that he would be perfect for his mama ❤️
Just look at that smile! 😁😁❤️
Quincy had a great jump school this morning to beat the heat!
Of course, Quincy always puts 150% into making sure she doesn’t touch the pole😂
Quincy’s motto with jumping: If you ain’t first, ya last! 🐎💪
Fogt Equestrain is excited to announce our newest assistant trainer, Prince!
Haha such a goofy little guy! Tricia Barbara

Even on my days off, I’m still riding and training…oh well, it’s just another great day spent in the ☀️ I may have mentioned once or twice that Quincy has a future in eventing 😏🐎 #ottbsofinstagram#ottbforsale#chesnutmaresofinstagram#ottbeventer#ottbretraining
What a beautiful day to get some training done! Billy had a great first session outside today! After a few bucks and excited squeals , he got right to work and took no joke about it! The last couple weeks have been great. Billy started with me, he was having some trouble on the lunge, and was further causing under saddle issues. He is now doing wonderfully in the ring! Can’t wait to see this big guys progress 😍😍 Katelynn MacQuarrie
Happy Easter! We couldn’t have asked for a better Easter Weekend to get some quality training done! Framing ✔️ Bending ✔️ Engagement in the shoulders, ribs and hindquarters ✔️ Now we wait for the treats the East Bunny will bring! Quincy has certainly earned a mint or two…or twenty
Happy Monday! We’re getting a start on our work week with a big emphasis on stretching! It’s proven to have great success when you take the time to properly warm up your horse! Taking the time, and allowing your horse to stretch down helps develop a topline, and further allows them to work through their hind end. It can help strengthen their backs and allow for stronger and more fluid movement! Quincy is getting the hang of how nice it can feel to stretch down! We are so excited how far she has come in the short few months we have had her! We can’t wait to get her out in the show ring! If you, or a friend, thinks they may benefit from a session with me, feel free to send a message or comment! Let’s get ready for a great show season folks!
