URBAN CANINE MINI SESSION & SERVICE DOG CLASSES

We are going to run a 2 week Urban Canine class, this will exclude the restaurant portion and focus on 2 different public spaces.

This class will be good for anyone looking to join our future service dog class or anyone looking to bring their dogs with them out and about in dog friendly spaces.

Urban Canine - Mondays January 20 & 27
530-630pm
$100/handler

Our Service Dog classes will limited in number of attendees and will be a mix of moving about in Public Spaces, sitting down at restaurants with distractions and settling at restaurants while we discuss topics.

Classes will be TWICE a week, Mondays and Fridays, with a one week break in February.

Mondays February 3, 17, 24 and March 3
Fridays February 7, 21, 28 and March 7
Mondays 530-630pm, Fridays 530-7pm
$600/handler Our Service

It seems fitting to end the year in second place…my nephew said “bronze is better cause you win to get it, silver you have to lose for it.” And if that doesn’t sum the year up, I don’t know what does…I had a record year, so much to be grateful for, so many wins…that came with the biggest loss of them all…so, here’s to second place🥈may it be a reminder that sometimes good things, come from a terrible loss. 💜🔮

Dropped in on the dog club up north again and that face about says it all! Boots had a great time and we sure enjoyed watching all the dogs work on all the skills…it was neat to see all the different aspects people were working on from service dog work to show stacking to personal protection…dogs are awesome!

People, let’s get this out there again…Karing Holmes is not like the others…we give you back the energy you give us…and we are not afraid to tell ya how it is…this year alone I lost my partner and best friend, my business partner and dear friend, and have been through hell and back with my brother…your words…your opinion…they do not touch this heart…we’re not in the business of impressing people, we are in the business of creating legendary working dogs…if you think you can hurt me with your words or opinions of me, you are dead wrong…I’ll simply leave you behind because I got places to be and dogs to work…so your review is not a pain that will hurt or change me…try again after I’ve gotten over two dead friends and a lost brother all in one year…which will be never…so gonna go split a cheese stick with my dogs now! Throw back to that time Boots was hanging out in a tree in Wisconsin…Vandal and I are headed back down early tomorrow morning for a retreat with a few fantastic ladies…they have changed how service dogs can fly so here’s to hoping it’s a smooth process and we got all our ducks in a row cause we are sure not famous for having those crazy bastards in any kinda order! TRUTH TUESDAY We are all visitors here…and the Truth is, I was put here to serve…in so many capacities, this is why I am here…months ago, I was holding the hand of a man who was struggling to find reasons to stay, just listening and holding space…two days ago I helped extricate two teenagers out of a vehicle where they walked away without a scratch…yesterday Boots helped open the door for an elderly gentleman who was waiting for us to work the doorway…the Truth is, service comes in many forms…did you raise those kids up to be smart, funny and kind? Did you save a life somewhere along the way? Did you hold the door for a stranger? The Truth is…there’s a reason she’s called Boots…service is the purpose…what can I do for others?
