🎄🐾 A Christmas Tail 🐾🎄

'Twas the season of giving, and all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring—not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that some treats would soon appear there.

The pups were nestled, snug in their beds,
While visions of chew toys danced in their heads.
And the cat in the corner, with a sly little grin,
Dreamed of climbing the tree and causing some sin.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
The dogs sprang up to see what was the matter!
Away to the window they flew in a dash,
Noses pressed close as they heard a loud crash.

There stood St. Nick with a sack full of toys,
He chuckled and waved at the good girls and boys.
With a wink in his eye and a wag of his tail,
He left behind goodies and set off on his trail.

“To the pups and the kitties, the rabbits and more,
Merry Christmas to pets we all so adore!
Take care of your furry ones, love them so dear,
They’re family forever, through every year!”
