Being a groomer isn't always the easiest job, we don't get to play with dogs all day long like everyone thinks we do 😂 but it is such a rewarding job!!
We get to make amazing human and pet connections every single day, we get to build bonds over time that mean the world to us!! Here at the barkside, you are our extended family 💕 your pets are our pets, your good news is our good news, just like your bad news is our bad news. We cry with you, we laugh with you, we cherish all the wonderful memories and moments with your furry little beasties. Kayla and zack have been keeping a little secret! We are excited to announce that we have a little human joining our pack!! 👶

Kayla will be going on maternity leave in the beginning of June, return date is uncertain at the moment but please do not worry!! Although she will miss her furry friends and her second family, she will be floating around/ doing recpetion duties and has got your grooming needs covered!

There may be some tiny changes to our work hours/ days as our other groomers prepare to take over my workload, but it will be in the benefit of you guys! We will still be accepting new clients as well 😁

Your June- December schedules will be coming out in the next couple weeks! With our schedule changing, we highly suggest you prebook your appointments, if you have not been doing that and would like to please text us at 905-993-0371

If you'd like to book an appointment we advice you reach out well in advance to avoid disappointment 💕

✅️ We suggest pre-booking your appointments!! You can pre book for the entire year, a couple at a time or right after your current grooming appointment.

✅️ Those who are already prebooked for the year, you will receive the rest of your schedule starting in april.

✅️ Pets who pre book get first choice of appointments, moved to priority on the cancelation list, and we always try to accommodate you first. It's a win - win for you and your pets 🐾

New dog collars! There will be some pre made ones offered in the shop, otherwise they are made to order so you can customize the colors! They will be sold as martingales at this moment in time, message us If interested 🥰 They hold 360 pounds of pressure, so not only are they adorable but practical! 💪🐕

The very exciting news you have all been waiting for ... WE ARE IN THE SHOP!! 🥳🎉 If I've been grooming your pet for awhile you have been able to see our shop be built by Zack and his dad from literally nothing! It's been a few years but we moved everything outside a few days ago and had our first full week of work outside in the new digs. All I can say is WOW!!! Thank you guys for always being so patient and supportive, I say it constantly but i really am so lucky to not only have a job that I LOVE but to build a whole life around it. 🥰🥰
