After what feels like a year of Sundays, we are proud to finally deliver our Keecam MAS 20th Anniversary photobook, with all orders placed and expected to arrive by Christmas!

For all those who ordered a hardcopy version of the book, we delivered more than we promised by increasing the page numbers from 40 to 65 (standard) and 80 to 106 (extended) by taking advantage of great discounts. We just couldn’t find pages to remove…they are all one-of-a-kind!

Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect from this one-time sale:

Option 1: Standard Digital PDF - 80 pages
Option 2: Extended Digital PDF - 120 pages
Option 3: Standard Hardcopy - 65 pages
Option 4: Extended Hardcopy - 107 pages

Thank you to all who showed interest in this project from the start by providing photos of your dog and purchasing a copy. For those who wanted to wait and see the final product first, we will release future sales of the 20th anniversary edition at select dates in 2025 (pages/prices may vary).

One thing that we would like to do for all of our Keecam MAS community going forward, is provide a submission form to submit your dogs photos to the photobook prior to ordering and we will produce personalized versions of the book that includes your MAS in your order.

Excited to hear from everyone their thoughts on the book and hope it can be a memorable piece for your family!

The Keecam pups had a great day at the Royal Canin Crown Classic show today. Keecam N Maclands Sweet Treat, "Mochi" won Winners Bitch and Keecams Iced Chocolate Chill, "Brew" took Winners Dog, and Best Of Winners! He also won Best Puppy in Breed. Thank you to Judge Wendy Willhauck! Many thanks to my friends for a fun weekend and especially to Jessie, Breezy and Desera for handling the pups and bringing home some ribbons.

PHOTOBOOK UPDATE 📖

Thank you to the 30+ orders we have received so far for our Keecam MAS 20th Anniversary photobook!!We are very excited to get these orders placed and start distributing the hardcopy and digital photobook to everyone who has completed the order form!

REMINDER: Hardcopy orders are closed Nov 20th to ensure we can have them shipped to everyone within Canada before Christmas (if ordered from international, there may be a longer delay on your order).

Here are a few updates:

- The extended digital photobook ($20) now has ~100 pages of perfectly themed MAS content, up from the estimated 70-80 pages 🫡

- ALL extended Hardcopy ($135) photobook orders will now ALSO receive the extended digital copy FREE with your order! We will distribute the digital copy after the Hardcopy is received to avoid any spoilers 🎁🥳

- On average, all MAS photo submissions will have three photos included per a dog throughout the extended copies! Depending on the type and quality of photos, there may be 2-5 photos of your bestfriend found throughout this book!

The Keecam MAS 20th Anniversary photobook will be available BEFORE THE HOLIDAYS!

Currently we have 75+ pages (extended digital version) nearly complete. This covers the entire life history of our dogs from ancestry through the Keecam generations, past litters and puppyhood, into adulthood (working/herding/performance). We highlight the seasons and holidays, some MAS quirks and funny photos, our community, and senior dogs with a little bit of everything else sprinkled throughout. 🐾

We are aiming to make this photobook semi-professional with mostly high quality photos and visuals (examples below are not final product). We have included MOST of your dogs in this book (thank you so much for submitting your MAS last winter)!

We plan to complete a bulk order of photobooks by Nov 20th to ensure they will be ready before Christmas this year.

For anyone interested in a HARD COPY version of the photobook, we are offering a one-time only pre-order at COST TO PRINT + shipping. For this Christmas hardcopy bulk order we are NOT looking to make profits but share with our community a really fun coffee table book that shows off the history and value of your special family member and bestfriend 🐕

Rogue, Icy, her four pups and I had so much fun this past two days visiting Lisa H at her cottage! The pups were so well behaved and has so much fun on the dock.

I came very close to losing Bosco today. It happened so fast and without him doing anything he hasnt done most of his life. I was gone most of the day so when i got home I let the three boys that were kenneled out to play with girls who had been outside for hours. We had visitors, my granddaughter was playing with the puppies and we were just hanging out in the back yard with all the dogs. About 40 minutes later, we noticed Bosco had collapsed, he was rigid, wide eyed with tongue hanging out and in obvious distress. While we were playing with the puppies he had been running around with his toy, trying to get the other dogs to chase him. He must have been over exerting himself and was now suffering from heat stroke. Completely unexpected since he spends most days outdoors snd there are plenty of shady areas to rest. I immediately picked him up and took him in the house to the bath tub and started running cool water on his feet, side and then pouring buckets of cool water on him, never cold, you dont want to shock a dog when cooling them off. He was rock hard, completely rigid with his legs under him and convulsing. His eyes were vacant and he was salivating heavily. This went on for 15 minutes before he started to relax. Then i wraped a towel around him and brough him to the livingroom by the air conditioner. Removed the towel and sat with him. He tried to get up and vomited. I did get some pedialyte water into him when he relaxed and was coming around. He has recovered, slept a few hours peacefully and went back to carrying around his toy which is normal. I know not to force play in the heat, I just assumed Bosco would know that too! Anyway, this story had a happy ending but I know it could have ended badly as well so just a reminder that heat stroke can happen at anytime and can be fatal.

Bosco had a great weekend at the Canine Water Sports dock diving competition and took first place in the Top Junior Division with a 14ft 4 inch jump in the finals. Bosco hasn't competed since 2022 and thanks to co owner, Desera Jaynes, he is back in the game! I will post some jump shots later.
