⚠️WARNING WHEN FREEZING TREAT TOYS

Please ensure that if you are stuffing treat toys and freezing them for your pets, don’t forget to ensure there is a HOLE ALL OF THE WAY THROUGH IT.

WHY YOU MAY ASK ?

Toys such as Kongs have 2 holes in their toys for a reason - TO PREVENT SUCTION.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT ?

When your pet licks at the contents of the toy or squeezes it in its mouth, their tongue can get SUCKED into the hole and the toy can get STUCK on the dogs tongue. This can cause horrific injuries to the point where the animal can actually die.

Having 2 HOLES in the toy PREVENTS this from happening.

So if you STUFF your toys with treats, natural peanut butter, etc - push a large straw through it to ensure the 2 HOLES ARE NOT BLOCKED. (We like the thick straws used for bubble tea 🧋)

If you are going to FREEZE the toy, do so with the straw in place and then REMOVE the straw before giving it to your pet.

Good morning all,
I Kasia Poirier want to inform you that our family will no longer be apart of Sunset Pocket Beagles. We want to take this moment to thank you for all the memories and support you have shown us. The sunset family is wonderful and we are sad about leaving but it is the best decision for us. I will still be putting together a beagle calendar for 2023 with 100% of proceeds going to Big on Beagles Rescue which the per order link will be shared next week. Hi they’ve been calling me Josie or mini Elly but what I really am is sweet, loving, funny, good with other dogs, great with kids. Im 4 months old. Ive been vet checked 3 times and vaccinated, included rabies. Wont need anymore vaccinated until Im an year old. Dewormed 4 times. Come with registration paper and a whole lot of love to give. Help me find my forever home! Thank you

Happy Monday all, Here is a little video of Sophie’s litter. We will be Introducing these sweet little babies by colour collar shortly.😁 oh a Sophie wasnt far she just went to visit her chicken friends lol

We’ve shared so many videos of Elly’s little ones but here is a short one of Sophie and her sweet babies ...all have their eyes open now and starting to learn to walk pretty well not as playful yet but that will come very very soon 😂 Sophie had quick the mix, lemon, tri, chocolate and one bluetick just like Mama.

Our Story

Old English Pocket Beagles

For The LOVE of Pocket Beagles!!!! Well if someone would have told me I would be an avid Pocket Beagle Fan, I'm not sure I would have seen that coming, I have always considered myself a BIG dog person, well until I met these little Big dogs, and that is exactly what they are, they are small but they are mighty. They are little dogs with Huge Personality and Love, and they “Think”... or should I say They “Know: they are the boss of the house.

It all started 5 years ago, I just fell in love, so in search of one, I found three and decided that being a pocket beagle mom would even be more fun and that these amazing beautiful fun-loving dogs would be a huge benefit to many families for many reasons, companionship, activity, hunting, sports, agility and most of all mental health and snuggles.

Sunsets puppies soon grew an audience and recognition of being absolutely adorable, (yes, I'm a bragging dog mom), so we grew and grew, I needed help!!!! and low and behold... Along came an Amazing lady!... Kasia Poirier is a loving, compassionate, fun, and yes a natural-born Lover of Fur Babies!!!! ... the fit couldn't have been more perfect. Kasia has joined the Sunset Pocket Beagle Family, and I couldn't be more thrilled to have Kasia (and her family) as my Partner in this crazy fun adventure of breeding adorable Pocket Beagles.
