Citizen Canines Professional Dog Walking has been in business since 2003. I am a big fan of the benefits that off-leash walks have for dogs; exercise, mental stimulation, confidence building and both canine and human socialization opportunities. I am bonded, insured and pet first aid trained. My clients will testify that I provide a reliable and trustworthy service and most important, a loving rel

ationship with their dog(s). I started Citizen Canines after I took early retirement in 2003. I began by becoming a certified dog trainer starting with our new Shiba Inu puppy but that involved working mainly evenings and weekends. As a single parent this presented obvious problems. So I decided that as I needed to walk our puppy anyway, why not bring some friends along? And so, Citizen Canines was born. Service area includes: McKenzie Lake, Douglasdale/Glen, McKenzie Towne, Cranston, Walden, Lake Chaparral, Heritage Pointe, Deer Run, Queensland, Lake Bonavista. Say hello to our newest additions to the pack! Meet Ducky and Chooko, two sweet Shorkies (Shih Tzu x Yorkie). They are still learning the ropes but are doing great! 😍

It is with a broken heart that I announce the sudden passing of Clark last Friday at the age of 9. He was such a sweet boy and we loved having him as part of the "Three Amigos" Westie trio in our pack.
Our deepest condolences to his family.
We miss you Mr. Clarky. 💔

An individual in the dog park passed us today and said "Of all the dog walkers that use this park, yours is the sweetest and best behaved group!"
Well, I knew that already. They have their moments, of course, but I am blessed to have such a lovely pack. 😍🙏🏻

He's baaack! Welcome back to the pack Clark! ❣
Clarky and his older adopted black Lab sister Molly were part of our group when Clark was just a pup. He will be turning 9 next week. So now we have 3 Westies in the group, joining Winston and Zoey. Triple the fun! 🥰🥰🥰
