Let's celebrate the love of our best friends. These furry friends range in all different shapes, sizes, and
breeds. There is a dog out there for everyone! Whether you like big
dogs or small dogs, every dog should be celebrated on National
Dog Day.

The aim of promoting this day is to
raise awareness about adopting these amazing animals who are
currently in rescue centers. We also
need to appreciate multiple ways in
which dogs contribute towards our society, putting their lives on the line to help law enforcement & providing assistance for those who need it

In my many years I have learned to read "the room" or dogs as we say
Especially since having Lola these past almost 8 years. She came from a home where she was abused daily from one of their other dogs. Until at 6 months we rescued her from that situation
A situation which brought with it some reactivity for Lola.
Some of the dogs I've walked have had reactivity towards other dogs, so being aware of my surroundings is always front of mind too me.
