Heads up to our traveler's. We will be seeing some changes coming August 1st, 2024.

Starting on August 1, all dogs entering the U.S. (including those that left the U.S. and are returning, and regardless of the country they are coming from) must be:
• healthy upon arrival
• at least 6 months of age
• microchipped
• accompanied by a CDC Dog Import Form receipt and required vaccination and veterinary documents.

Additional requirements may apply depending on where the dog has been in the last 6 months and whether or not the dog was vaccinated in the United States.

We got to see our old pal Chase today and he is not quite the lap dog he used to be!

We have a new computer system going live today and will not be open until 9:00 AM.

Pepper’s mom brought her in today to have her little teeth cleaned and polished. She did great, and with the general anesthetic we were able to ensure we didn’t miss a thing!

Hunter came in for a dental, now he has sparkly clean teeth and very fresh breath.

Chase was born in UK. He is an 8 year old rescue mix of springer spaniel, dalmatian and parson russell terrier. He came home to Canada in 2020 after also travelling to US and Estonia.

Last year he broke his front leg which is full of metal now and had long recovery doing physio and underwater treadmill. He is very thankful for Mill bay veterinary hospital for supporting his recovery! As well as Boundary Bay Veterinary specialist hospital, VCA and Van isle veterinary hospital for rehab.

Chase is fully recovered now and enjoys swimming and hiking. No balls for him now due to his injury, that's why he carries stick!

Chase’s Mom is very thankful for pet insurance!

Mango is always a friendly and curious cat. He found his family after being left behind at a campground. Being an adult when he arrived, it is hard to say how old he is, but by the looks of it he is definitely enjoying his senior years lounging in spring gardens.
