A little about the owner
For all of you who I haven't met yet, my name is Nicole MacPherson. I am a mom to two beautiful girls and a wife of a hardworking cattle and grain farmer. I am a lover of animals and have been since I was a child. I knew growing up I wanted to work with animals. I wanted to learn everything I could so I went to post-secondary school twice I graduated from a vocational school in Saskatoon in 2005. After that I went attended Siast Kelsey Campus and graduated and a Veterinary Technologist in 2010. I worked in a 24 hour emergency care vet clinic post graduation, until I move to Wapella and worked in Moosomin at Valley Flats Veterinary Services for 8 years.
I love taking care of animals. I have fostered more than I can count for the Vet Clinic over the last 8 years. Thank goodness I have an understanding husband. He has come home to a surprise foster animal in our home many times. From bottle fed kittens to geriatric border collies, to noisy puggles, timid chihuahuas. I am a sucker for a pet in need.
I have three dogs, Envy, Siren and Scout, Three Farm cats Apollo, Sheriff Catty, and Sparkalo Tinkerbell. (all male cats, beautifully named by my daughter. I try not to laugh when I am calling them for breakfast each morning)
Envy is my certified St John’s Ambulance Therapy dog and we volunteer at the hospital for Pet therapy with seniors. A job she and I both love.
