🐴 Swiftwind Equine Center has partnered with Working Equitation Friends of South Western Manitoba to be a host facility for their Virtual Working Equitation Fun Shows for this year! This is a great opportunity to practice your working equitation skills and get feedback from WECAN judges.

We are pleased to share with you …….

WECan Board of Directors for 2024

Nominations were received, voting was done in the Regions that members had to choose from two or three nominees and the votes are in and tallied. The results of our electoral process are:



BC Region

After 175 ballots were sent out and 85 total eligible votes received, Karma Wolsey is the new Director ‘A’ for BC for the 2024/2025 term.

Director ‘B’ for the balance of her term to end of 2024 is Darcy Henkel.



AB Region

Kendra Martland was uncontested and as the incumbent for the Director ‘A’ role 2024/2025 term, has been acclaimed.

Director ‘B’ for the balance of her term to end of 2024 is Lynne Jupp.



SK Region

With 45 eligible ballots sent out and a return of 23 verified votes for both ‘A’ and ‘B’ Directors, the results are:
Lee Cayer - Director ‘A’ 2024/2025
Kim Moats - Director ‘B’ for 2024



MB Region

No nominees came forward, we have no directors at this time for Manitoba.



ON Region

By acclamation the two Directors are:
Director ‘A’ - 2024/2025 - Cathy Dias
Director ‘B’ - 2024 - Janice Woods



QC Region

Nancy Theorét was uncontested for the Director ‘A’ position 2024-2025 and as the incumbent has been acclaimed.

Director ‘B’ through to end of 2024 is Patricia Lamontagne



Atlantic Region

Cheryl Quast - Director ‘B’ through to end of 2024
