It’s that time of year again…..
blanket season😫

If you haven’t done so already, please plan to bring rain sheets (0g-50g) to the barn for next week. Also, provide a name tag on the front enclosures to avoid confusion for staff and other boarders.

All blankets can be hung in the back storage room along the wall on your designated hooks (two hook limit per horse).

Despite the heat, we had a fantastic weekend at Tensixty Silver series with Sienna Wilson and Dulcinea. They cleaned up in the 0.60 division with champion, and reserve champion in the 0.70 division. Lots of lessons learned and growing together as a team. Super proud! 🎉🙌🏻

Of course a shout out for the amazing coaching, as always, from Equistrong and Joanna Niles. And a huge thank you to Keira for all of her help grooming and making sure the turn out was too notch 🤩

Can’t wait for the next one!

‼️Reminder‼️

Due to extreme heat over the next few days, please keep in mind that any amount of exercise (even light) can cause your horse to easily overheat. Be sure to hose off your horse thoroughly to bring down their core temperature before placing them back outside or in a stall.

That being said, rest assured, all of our indoor horses that are turned out will be hosed off prior to turn in to avoid overheating in their stalls.

What a great day for our first show of the 2024 season 🙌🏻🤩

Today was the first time out for Sienna and her new mount Dulcinea aka “Dolly” making their debut in the 0.65 jumper ring. They were successful meeting new challenges and ended up placing 🥇 🥉 🥉 out of 14 entries with all clear rounds🎉

Thank you to Joanna Niles Equistrong for the excellent job coaching, Jane Niles for the support and waking up early this morning lol and the biggest thanks to Randall Wilson for taking the time on Father’s Day to support your crazy horse kid who likes to jump sticks 😝😘

We are a family owned and operated hunter/jumper facility in Uxbridge/Goodwood area., conveniently located 15 mins from both 404/407 highways. Bright 17 stall barn on 25 acres with large outdoor sand ring, indoor arena with fibre footing and hacking trails to the Durham Forest. There is a small lesson program of private lessons (no groups) which run throughout the day/evening. We attend Silver Series shows as well as Gold. Zero drama, super supportive and professional atmosphere!

Happy Monday everyone!

Now that we are officially in to blanket season, I am requesting each horse have at least one rainsheet cleaned and returned to the barn for the upcoming weeks 🙏🏻 The weather this time of the year can be unpredictable and I appreciate everyone’s cooperation in keeping us organized and well prepared!

DVE West boarders, please make sure the blankets are hung under the labeled hooks in the back room to make it easy for staff to find.

DVE North boarders, please leave your horses blankets on the blanket rack located in the aisle way.

Please make sure you horses name is labeled clearly to avoid confusion. We recommend using blanket tags (like a dog name tag on collars) on key rings which are inexpensive and easy to read.
