If you are planning to surprise us on Sunday, August 25th, David will be on deck. I am booked for 2 hours between 10 am and noon. Coffee and muffins ready for 9 am. Feel free to enjoy the lounge, shuck some corn, purchase your seed garlic. Sounds like the perfect day to execute a slow cooker beef chili & corn bread menu - ready on demand. After 12, happy to prepare a platter of juicy sliced heirloom tomatoes.

Garlic Scapes are available from June to enjoy and preserve. I store mine in the cooler until the jammin mood hits or the constant reminders from my people push it up my to do list.

We have been waiting to identify a mystery pepper plant which came from a single seed hiding in compost. We have identified it as C***o Di Torno.( Italian sweet Pepper) It was ready to use in a chimichurri sauce.
The only place you can wear a garlic hat is at a Garlic Festival. Right? Great to finally shop at voted best market of the year. Picked the best day. Local shopping and connecting with familiar faces. The next big one for us is . I am looking forward to working along side Lindsay, other garlic lovers and meeting up with . For sale... "Parental chickens and roosters are from last year's hatch with different lineages for increased genetic diversity. Ameraucana with azure Blue Cross hens. Sasso ivory x black copper maran roo with azure Blue Cross hens. Azure Blue x redsex link mix with black copper maran cross hens. Green and mixed shades of dark brown eggs incubated. No low ball offers, 6$ each unsexed or 10 for $55. Just started pipping and hatching today. Female chicks will have mixed shades of green/brown eggs and the males will carry genes for mixed egg colour as well as tasting delicious. Again, chicks are unsexed, I do not know how to vent sex."

Stop in if you need ingredients and check out our market hut. Prices listed. Pay what you can items. We are collecting your donations to drop off at our local food bank on Sept 6th. Opened my window and recorded.... Turn up the volume. Can you identify that sound?
