What's your mower height?
The middle setting?
Have you ever changed the height?
Or have you kept the same height since purchase?
Why does the manufacture give you options?
You should never cut more then 1/3 of the plant
Why do you mow it so short?
Aesthetics? You believe shorter grass looks better?
Golf Courses? They use a lot of water and products to maintain that height.
The middle Setting? It's probably about 2 inches - and that's too short!
Try setting it at 3 inches!!!!
Mowing the grass at 3 inches will prevent diseases, promote deep digging roots, help the grass conserve water, improve turf density, and improve turf color. This one minor change of mowing on the highest setting will make a major improvement in the overall health and beauty of your lawn.
The taller you mow the deeper the roots will dig!
A very small change in mowing height makes a huge difference in lawn appearance, drought resistance and overall health.
