Happy Watermelon Day! 🍉
Did you know that watermelon is a safe and healthy treat for most dogs, as it is low in calories and fat while being high in vitamins A, B6, and C, as well as potassium?
It also contains a good amount of water, which can help keep dogs hydrated, especially during hot weather!
Can anyone guess what this little bug is?
If you guessed "flea", you would be correct!
These little buggers can be picked up by your pet from just about anywhere, and can be very difficult to get rid of.
Prevention is definitely easier than treatment!
If you have any questions about your pet's prevention plan, please give us a call at 905-852-3319 🐾
This yucky little friend of ours is here to remind us that tick season is still going strong!
Ticks are out any day the weather is above 4 degrees (regardless of snow, or the weather the day before). Ticks are especially active in the fall because they are trying to reproduce and get in their final meals before they go dormant for the winter.
Please feel free to call us at 905-852-3319 with any questions regarding your pet's parasite prevention plan. 🐾 #tickseason
Blacklegged ticks can be found in fall leaves.
Make sure your dog is on #TickControl medication this fall to remain protected from September to November. Blacklegged ticks are the ticks associated with #LymeDisease.
Well at least Lily is enjoying all the snow we've gotten! ❄🥰
Whatever keeps the pups happy is good with us! Even if it is snow 🥶
Please comment with pictures of your own fur babies having fun in the snow! 🐶🌨
