When it rains, it seems to pour dumped puppies. 🐾 ☔ 🌧️

Evelin found one male puppy (4) in the streets while at an appointment. After her appointment, she went back to look for it and it was still where she first saw it. She couldn't leave it as it would certainly get hit by a car.

Puppies 1,2,3 were all left abandoned in a home when the family moved. Two puppies have problems walking normally and the vet feels it's due to poor nutrition. The black male puppy walks normally.

If you would like to name a puppy after a special furry friend, here is a wonderful opportunity. For $50 a name, your dog or cats legacy will continue.

All donations help towards transportation, vet appointments, vitamin supplements, puppy food, first vaccination, deworming, and flea medication.

If you are thinking of vacationing in Costa Rica, why not also help a rescue dog fly home to Toronto.

Another adorable boy Sam is adopted and needs a Cargo lift to Toronto. WestJet and Air Transat allow dogs in the Cargo hold in an airline approved crate.

These sweet rescue dogs in a CR shelter near La Fortuna want to fly to their families in Toronto. You see they are adopted and are waiting to be es**rted to Toronto.

There is no cost to you. They simply just go on your booked flight ticket as Cargo hold pets. The CR shelter helps with check in at SJO.

I meet you in Toronto with the adopters. It's a wonderful humanitarian experience by giving a shelter dog a second chance.

UPDATE: Thanks Marion Dick for naming this brave girl Sprite. It's a bubbly name to match her personality once she is feeling better.

This lucky 3 month old puppy was found as a stray. Most likely abandoned as that's what despicable owners do when their dog needs urgent medical care.

This sweet girl was weak, lethargic, and had a swollen stomach. A closer exam revealed she had pale gums. Evelin Piedra Alvarez sent a driver to pick her up and transport to her vet.

Blood work showed she was anemic and needed a blood transfusion. One of Evelin's dogs had donated in the past and was used again to help this puppy.

Feeling a little better and she started eating a bit after the procedure. Hopefully, she makes a speedy recovery with a few dewormings and she already received flea medication as she was infested with them.

UPDATE: Thanks so much Donna White for naming the white puppy Ripple. Donna likes the name because one good deed ripples into many others.

Ripple will find a forever home once old enough to fly to Toronto.

Donna and Gary were wonderful flight volunteers for Quinn and Estrella back in April.

UPDATE: Thanks so much Sally Walker for naming the brown puppy Zoey. Such a pretty name for a lucky girl.

These two 20 day old female puppies were found abandoned. Not sure if they were dumped or their Mom passed away.

Evelin immediately sent a driver to pick them up since Angelina still had milk. Unfortunately, all of Angelina's puppies passed away as they were too premature to survive. Evelin Piedra Alvarez was hoping she would accept the 2 abandoned puppies as her own.

The first day Angelina was fine but last night she became angry with the new puppies and rejected them. Evelin now has to bottle feed them.

Everyone has helped so much in the past. Once again we have a name that puppy fundraiser for $50. Each $50 donation goes towards formula, dewormings, and first vaccination at age ready.

Vet Mario couldn't save the eye unfortunately as it was very infected. She had been dealing with this painful injury for a while.

Stella is a Yorkie/toy poodle mix was found abandoned in a box along with her two sisters at a very young age. She has grown into a healthy dog and would love to be Canadian.

At 8 months old, Stella is 8 lbs, utd vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and will come with a vet Health Certificate.

Kkami is a miniature dapple dachshund mix that was found abandoned in South Korea. He was immediately taken to the vet to get examined.

Luckily this sweet boy just needed to gain weight and get neutered. His age is estimated at 9 years old and now weighs 8 lbs which is a healthy weight.

Kkami is currently living the best life in foster but he wants a forever home. He is good with dogs, can be cat tested, has utd vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, teeth cleaned, and comes with a vet Health Certificate.

This super sweet girl Molly arrived last night at Toronto International Airport and was absolutely a doll.

Molly was given a second chance with Melissa Priestley and family. She will now live in Scarborough in a beautiful home and have a blast with their 3 children.

Thanks to Gillian Smith who was vacationing in Toronto and wanted to help es**rt Molly here. Gillian has es**rted dogs in the past for my rescue and I was thrilled she could help again.

Special thanks to Evelin Piedra Alvarez for taking Molly as a surrender even though she is full and keeping her safe until she could fly. You see Evelin has 105 dogs currently but is always willing to assist wherever she can.

This female terrier mix was found with a nasty wound on her belly. She is only 2 years old and apparently attacked by dogs. To top it off, she is pregnant.

This lucky dog received urgent vet care and a place to stay at Evelin Piedra Alvarez's shelter.
