Valleyview & Greenview Impounded Strays We provide housing for strays found in Valleyview and the MD of Greenview while looking for owners All strays brought in are recorded and health assessed.

Strays found in Valleyview or Greenview Area can be brought to us to be cared for until they are reunited with their owners, or adopted out. We are required by contract to hold the animal for 4 business days when found in town, or 3 business days when found in the MD of Greenview, to allow for an owner to come and claim the animal. Once the 3 or 4 days are up and we deem the animal healthy, it is

then up for adoption. *Fees- Town owners are required to pay the town office running at large fees, and then pay us impound fees/night. Outside of town owners are only required to pay impound fees/night. *Adoption Fees- All adopted out animals are spayed and neutered. Please contact us for details on adoption fees.

2024 was quite the year for the pound! With a total of 157 animals coming into our care, that is an average of one animal every 2.3days, or three animals a week!😮
Having forms of identification such as a collar with tags and accurate contact phone numbers, or a microchip/tattoo aid in getting animals home to their families as quickly as possible.
We thank the wonderful rescues that we work with and are able to transfer these animals to where they are given a chance to continue looking for their forever homes.

As a reminder, the Valleyview & Greenview Pound DOES NOT take in surrenders, but only animals that are running at large
