Lacey, this sweet girl, was here for her TPLO surgery. 🐶💕
But do you know what this surgery is?
In simple terms, TPLO surgery helps adjust how the bones in a dog’s knee joint fit together, providing relief from pain, stability to the knee, and improve mobility. Think of it as giving your dog a chance to run, jump, and play fetch without any knee-related worries.

Even if your kitty never goes outside, there’s a good chance that members of the household come and go daily. Having a dog in the same home could also bring back a parasite such as a roundworm after a walk, or playdate. Microscopic worm eggs can lay dormant for months, so it’s easy to track them in on your clothing and footwear. There’s no way to avoid them completely when you are outdoors.

If you are worried your indoor cat may have contracted an intestinal parasite, call our vet team at Hemlock Animal Hospital at (604) 558 1400. We're open 7 days a week!

Did you know that millions of unwanted dogs and cats are euthanized every year?

The good news is that responsible pet owners like you can make a difference! By having your dog or cat spayed or neutered, you will do your part to prevent the birth of unwanted puppies and kittens. Spaying and neutering prevent unwanted litters, help to protect against or prevent some serious health problems, and may reduce many behavioral problems associated with the breeding instinct.

To combat this problem and raise awareness, we are taking 10-15% off spays and neuters for your dogs and cats this month. Call us at (604) 558 1400 to schedule your appointment today! Your pet will thank you in the future.
