My guest today is Dr. Steven Darnell.

Dr. Steven is a Structural Bionformatician, which is a scientist who uses mathematics and science to understand how the shape of proteins control the chemistry of life.

Dr Steven is a principal scientist at DNASTAR which is a life science software company in the USA.

For all of you listening, just to give you a glimpse what bioinformatics is - bioinformatics combines biology, computer science, information engineering, mathematics and statistics to analyze and interpret the biological data. So would be save to say that it is one of the most complex and advanced fields of science on the planet.

As many of the listeners who know me, have guessed by now that that all of this is way over my head.

Nevertheless, I look forward to finding out more about this profession, Dr Steven’s journey and asking my primitive questions!

My guest today is Juan Bartolomei, who is a Board Certified neurosurgeon at the Yale School of Medicine and acting section chief of spine surgery. In 2013, Juan was named one of the US News and World Report's top doctors. Juan trains at Yale and in the UK, and especially about helping patients avoid surgery unless it is necessary. If surgery is necessary, Juan believes in making sure their procedures take into account the whole spine and body to ensure better outcomes. And we're excited to talk about Juan's journey to becoming a top spine neurosurgeon and picking up his brain on what all of us can do to take care of our spine better.

My Guest today is Jon Rineman. Jon is a standup comedian as well as monologue writer and screenwriter, he was a head Monologue writer for the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he also helped Seth Myers to write 2011 White House Correspondents (for those who don’t remember this is one that some say, pi**ed of Donald Trump so much, he decided to run for president). Jon worked with WWE, and now he has launched a board game called Anti Social Skills.

He has a new podcast “Here’s what people are talking about “ podcast.

We're gonna talk today about what it is to be a monologue and screenwriter, and of course discuss all different projects that Jon is involved in!

My guest today is James Stamatelos. James is a former counterterrorism intelligence analyst.

James has studied radical terrorism for about 6 years, and worked directly in a field for 4 in Region 13 Counterterrorism Task Force Fusion Center and a specialist for the City of Pittsburgh Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security

Currently James is working with high achievers who feel that they are chronically not enough and helps them overcome this. He is also an author of the book that is simply titled “Enough”.

Today we are going to uncover what it is to be a counterterrorism intelligence analyst, and talk about how to be enough.

My guest today is Brian Terbush. Who is a Volcanologist by training. Brian works as the earthquake and volcano coordinator for the Washington Emergency Management Division. He focuses on doing everything possible to make sure people are safe from Earthquakes and Volcanic eruptions.

Beyond that, whenever there is an emergency within the state, that the locals are unable to respond to by themselves (for example, a global pandemic… or wildfires, large flooding, an earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc.), Brian puts hishe day job work aside to help coordinate the response and or recovery from that disaster, to support whatever the cities and counties need help with.

Today we are going talk about the profession of Volcanologist, and of course get smoke tips how to be safe during big catastrophes.

My guests today are Jamie and John Caponetta who are Certified Dog Trainer and behavioral consultants.

Jamie and John are founders of Pawesome University where they educate dog owners teaching them Positive Reinforcement techniques and support dogs to make sure that those dogs stay out of shelters.
