We were always looking for new places that we could go adventuring with her - and found information on the internet was spotty at bet. So we created the Dog Network! Full of a directory of dog-friendly hikes, dog parks, dog beaches and swimming spots, dog-friendly patios, businesses and more!

On August 19, Triple O’s will offer a Pup Menu at select drive-thru locations, featuring a Pup Patty, 100% Canadian beef patty seasoned to order, and a Pup “Shake” aka a cup full of whipped cream. 🐾

PLUS, to celebrate International Dog Day on Aug 26, they’ll give away 5,000 free patties and shakes on the day across all locations. The first 100 customers who arrive with their dogs at each participating location will receive the giveaway items for their pups. 🐕 🐩

We recently took a day trip to Bowen Island (for the first time in 8 years) and were surprised to find that they had designated a LOT more dog-friendly beaches than then had previously. Many of their community and neighbourhood beaches allow dogs (although you do have to hike a bit to get down to them!) as well as most of their inland trails.

We need to go back to finish visiting all of the dog-friendly places but for now - if you are planning a trip to Bowen, check out our listings of places you can take your dog.

Hello dog friends!

Our website has a small director of dog-friendly patio's and cafes, mostly in the Vancouver, BC area. Given that we are well into patio season I would love to add to this list! If you are aware of a dog-friendly patio, restaurant or cafe anywhere in BC let us know so that we can add them!

A Website For Dog Owners, By Dog Owners

Hi there! We are Matt and Stacey, two dog loving people who decided to make a website. The idea for the dog network started when Stacey first got a dog and began the long process of trying to find the best dog parks, trails and hikes to go explore with her new pup. She quickly found that information was not always easy to come by and started to compile her own list of favourite places. From this the dognetwork.ca was born.

Now our website features a directory of off-leash dog parks, beaches and trails from around the Province. We also have a blog where we feature helpful articles about dog care, favourite places to go and more. One of our favourite things to do is to travel so we have started to feature posts about dog friendly destinations and everything you need to know when you get there.

We are constantly adding new content and locations so check back often to see what is new! We’d also love to hear from you. If you have a favourite park or dog friendly place let us know and we’d be thrilled to add it. Thanks for stopping by our page.
