Chocolate Zebras 🍫 🦓

These guys are a fun spin on such a classic isopod species! I'm getting all different shades of chocolate in my quickly growing colony!

WHAT A WEEKEND!! The expo has left us physically exhausted, but our hearts are so full! Thank you to everyone who came out to attend or vend the biggest BCRC show yet!

We had little time to leave our table all weekend, and I'm sad we didn't get to socialize as much as we would have liked. We may be looking into recruiting some extra help in the future haha 😉

We made no animal purchases this time (almost did though), but did a trade with for this stunning baby Pine Isle Chahoua!

Over the next few days/weeks I'll try to get pictures and info of what is available on the website, but please don't be afraid to message in the meantime if you are looking for your next new pet!

Little miss Myla had a dental surgery today, definitely cost us more than we were expecting. Will be posting up some geckos soon to hopefully help with the cost if it.

Sweet girl is definitely feeling the pain meds.

We welcomed these two beautiful Sarasinorum the other day! It's been a while since we have had some babies!

I've had lots of inquiries lately about Sarasinorum, as only a few people work with them in Canada. These two will be available once well established!

We are home, and all the geckos have been unpacked. Thanks to everyone who battled the heat to come out and see us at the in Nanaimo this weekend!

Baby Thai Spiky isopods have landed! I only counted a small handful, so it goes to show these guys have incredibly small broods. I hope they thrive for me!

Sorry for the crappy quality pictures. This dwarf species has babies, not much larger than a springtail lol

Found my first velvet worm baby! It's so cute! 🤩

Fun fact: it is unknown whether or not velvet worms have specific s*xes, change s*x or reproduce through pathogenesis.

Rubber ducky isopods are just the cutest! 🥹

Over the past few days, I received many new isopods, I just counted, and there are 54 different isopods! Hoping to bring lots to the Edmonton expo!
