🌿✨ Join us for a kid-friendly DIY adventure! ✨🌿

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and build a bug snug! 🪲🏡 We will use prunings and cuttings from the orchard and meadow to create cozy habitats for our insect friends to overwinter in. We will also have paint available for making “bug snug” signs. From crafting tiny shelters to learning all about the important role bugs and other garden creatures play in our ecosystem, this hands-on event is perfect for nature lovers and creative souls alike. 🌱💚

We will be removing the invasive plants in the Forest Garden on Sunday at 10am. Please come and invite friends if you are available! There will be snacks!

We’re preparing the space to be able to native plants at our amazing event on October 12th.

October’s event is very special.

Copley Community Orchard and the Running Free Wildflower Garden Society, with Elder Valerie Nicholson of Mi’kmaq, Haida, and Roma descent, are coming together at the Every Child Matters Garden to honour the children who never came home this month.

We will start the ceremony at 10:30AM It will include planting more bulbs and plants in the garden and writing messages on orange rocks.

We will also be adding new native plants to the Forest Garden.

Community Potluck
Bring your favourite dishes, cutlery, and drinks to share with fellow nature enthusiasts. It’s a great way to strengthen our sense of community and enjoy a tasty meal together.

Please spread the word, invite your friends, and let’s foster a deeper appreciation for our environment while having a fantastic time together.

Looking for something to do? The heritage apple trees are dropping the apples that will not make it to the fall harvest.
Please come help put these apples into the boxes below the trees. Also, feel free to take them home. Please do not pick the apples yet. It’s almost time!
