Our dogs can be flown across Canada, and thus far have primarily headed to Vancouver and Toronto. Each dog has their own album of photos, information and videos attached to showcase their personalities and lovely natures. From the beginning of Rescue Paws Canada in March 2017, there has been over 250 adoptions into Canada, with amazing interest from animal-loving North Americans. Frankie is a beautiful 6-month old mixed puppy available for foster or adoption on March 18th!
He's playful and affectionate and has shown to be friendly with adults, children, cats and other dogs.
He was found at fair grounds at just one-month old. After almost getting hit by an electric scooter, he was rescued and has been living at a shelter.

Our beautiful Oliver is available for foster or adoption from March 18th.
He is such a gentle, adorable, and friendly little dog and just like any well-behaved dog in the world, he deserves a forever home.
Oliver was saved from the side of the road near a construction site, and the construction workers were giving him scraps of food. He was rescued by a shelter and discovered that he's social with people, dogs and cats.
He's only 1.5 years old and weighs 18lbs.

Now the weather is very cold outside and he got rescued and we hope to find a loving home for him, where he could start a new life with a nice loving family. He is super friendly to young and old people, gets along well with cats and dogs, not a picky eater and he's good at walking on a leash.

Let me tell you about the day my life changed forever...
I was either abandoned or managed to escape from my previous owner. I was extremely thin and had a rope tied around my neck. I wandered the deserted streets when suddenly I saw a car approaching. Something told me that this could be the turning point I desperately needed. With wagging tail and a glimmer of hope in my eyes, I approached the car. And you know what? It was fate that brought me face-to-face with a kind-hearted dog rescuer. She saw the condition I was in and knew she had to help.
From that moment on, my life started to change for the better. She took me to the vet, where I received the care and nourishment I so desperately needed. Slowly but surely, I gained weight and became healthy again. The rescuer showed me that there are humans out there who can be trusted and loved.
Now, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I absolutely adore treats, and my favourite indulgence is an X-Large beef bone that I can happily devour for hours. It's important to note that I'm a large breed dog, and due to my size and energy level, I would be best suited for a home with someone who has experience handling dogs like me. While I'm incredibly smart and have learned commands like "come," "go," "inside," and "sit," I am still eager to learn more!
I'm ready for a fresh start, a loving home where I can be cherished and appreciated for the loyal and intelligent companion that I am. If you're looking for a remarkable dog who has overcome adversity and is eager to embark on a new journey with you, then look no further.

Cooper is here to show all rescue dogs that snow is a friend! ❄️ Cooper's mother was rescued when she was heavily pregnant with him and his four siblings. She was almost sold for meat in China, but was rescued by a kind lady and was able to safely give birth to her babies. In March, Cooper and his four siblings arrived into Vancouver and now all live happily with the furever families we found for them 🤍 We thought everyone would like to see just how joyful his life is. Thank you to WOA Foundation for rescuing him and to Cooper's adoptive family for making this possible 🐾
Seeking an urgent foster home for Boba in Vancouver or Vancouver Island 🐾 Boba was adopted by a lovely family in Vancouver Island, however she has had some issues adjusting to her new home. In Qatar, Boba had happily lived with other dogs and children, however since arriving into Canada, she has displayed behaviour that leads us to believe she needs a calm household with no young children and no, or only one other friendly dog to help her settle in. Here are some words from her current family: I love this dog. She is sweet and affectionate once she gets over the initial trust issues, and LOVES to cuddle anyone who is kind to her. One look into her eyes and pretty much everyone will fall in love with her. She is smart and wants to please, although could definitely benefit from additional training. She does know some basic commands, although I might not know what commands she has been for certain behaviours. She is a very athletic dog and could benefit from longer walks or even as a running partner as she is a dog built for speed. She loves our large yard here, and the interesting smells in the outdoors, and when she is inside will happily curl up on her corner of the couch and spend the day watching you. She is also crate trained and is quite happy to go into the crate when that is needed. She is currently in her crate when we are out and at night and goes into it willingly when I tell her "crate". Of course a cookie always helps. She also loves stuffy toys, but be prepared for her to pull the stuffing out - she can get the squeaker out if a toy in record time. She will also happily occupy herself with a good Nyla-bone to chew on. Meng needs a Foster! 🖤 Meng is a very special little guy who is coming to Canada this week and doesn’t have a home. He was rescued from the streets of China and has been living at a shelter for the last two years - just waiting for his chance to travel to Canada and find his furever family. He is around three years old and is a Pug mix. His legs did not form correctly due to a lack of nutrients when he was very young - so he looks a little different (which only makes him that more special!). He has such a fun, lively personality. As you can see in the video, his favourite thing is belly rubs! He has so much love to give and deserves the perfect family after all he has been through. He is travelling into Vancouver on Dec 15th and is in need of a Foster to collect him from the airport!
