🐾 Special Patient of the Week: Jack! 🐾 This week, we’re celebrating a brave little guy — meet Jack, a 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier! Jack came to us needing some extra TLC after experiencing vomiting and diarrhea, requiring in-hospital care to get him back on his paws. Our dedicated technician Caroline made sure Jack felt right at home, even sitting in his kennel to give him comfort and reassurance during his stay. 💕 After two days of care, we’re thrilled to report that Jack is back home and feeling great! 🐾🌍 Kingsway Veterinary Clinic Highlight: Stephanie’s Wild Adventure in Costa Rica! 🌿🦜 Our amazing vet assistant, Stephanie, is currently on a life-changing internship at a wildlife rescue in the Alajuela province of Costa Rica! 🏞️ This crash course in tropical wildlife care has her encountering everything from iguanas and turtles to sloths, jaguars, and howler monkeys—basically, every creature except for cats and dogs! 🐢🦥 Stephanie’s been hands-on with cases involving electrocutions, car accidents, and even some general check-ups. The team at the rescue assesses each intake to determine the best course of action, giving these animals a second chance at life. 💚 But it’s not all work—Stephanie’s also been soaking in the beauty of Costa Rica on her days off, exploring the Arenal hanging bridges, cloud forests, natural hot springs, and even some hidden water pools. She’s fully immersed in the rich culture of La Fortuna, and loving every minute of it. 🌺🌊 And let’s not forget the FOOD!
