And the happiest dog of the day award goes to.... Lola! Lola was very excited to be here for her first appointment at Blue Cross. She won over all the staff with her spins and that big, beautiful smile.
Meet Ola! This special girl was diagnosed with bilateral carpal laxity. Here she is showing off her new, custom-made leg braces, which help keep her bones in place, allowing the muscles and tendons to stay in alignment. The owner reports they took some time to get used to, but now she is walking comfortably - which is easy to see by her happy little trot. Good girl, Ola!
Someone's excited to be here! Meet Plover, the 16 week old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Plover was a superstar for his last round of puppy vaccines. Here he is afterwards getting very excited for a well deserved cookie!

Meet Silas, East Van's most accomplished feline jazz pianist! Apparently, he quickly learned that if he banged on the keys while his human was working (her desk is right next to the piano), he got attention and treats. Now he "plays" all the time, including, of course, when she is in Zoom meetings with her boss. Keep it up Silas!
