Many of us appreciate the benefits of wholesome nutrition, but with overwhelming selections, conflicting opinions and obscure labeling, it can often make healthy choices confusing. We are here to help you navigate through this information and answer your questions.

MEET THE FOUNDER

WILDPAWS Pantry is personal.

I was introduced to raw feeding in 2005. My 8-week-old puppy came home with a bloated belly and was noticeably uncomfortable. My basic understanding of physiology and nutrition, led me to first investigate his food source. I was disappointed to learn about the mislabeling of conventional pet foods. It made me think about my own body and the notion of “food for fuel”. What we eat impacts our health, it must be the same for our pets.

I explored alternative diets; often consulting with friends, like-minded pet owners and a Holistic Veterinarian. A home cooked, BARF diet (Biologically Appropriate Raw Diet) quickly resolved my puppy’s bloating, his energy increased and he loved his new food! Other benefits quickly appeared: a shiny coat, white teeth, bright eyes, healthier p**ps, incredible stamina - all indications that raw feeding was the best choice I could make for my dog.

Today, I am proud to be part of the raw feeding movement.

My affection for my dogs and love for all animals inspires WILDPAWS. I want to engage others to be plugged-in to their pets overall wellness. I’m here to help make raw feeding and natural alternatives simple to understand and easily accessible to fellow pet parents. Our paw friends deserve the very best from us!
