Poppy is a 4 year old, 13.2hh, gaited pony mare.
She is super kind and forgiving, and not to mention adorable.
Poppy leads, ties, bathes, trailers, and stands for the farrier.
She also side passes to the mounting block, pulls a drag, has had a rope swung off her, opens gates, crosses water and bridges, steps over logs, and has been exposed to cows.
She has a ground covering walk and an incredibly smooth trot, with a developing canter/gait. She has no buck, bolt, or rear.
On the trails, she is ridden with Tennessee Walking Horses, and keeps up with them with ease. She is happy going out alone, leading the group, following behind, or somewhere in between. She is brave and not spooky.
ā°ļøPoppy would excel in Mountain Trail or Extreme Cowboyā°ļø
She is easy to catch and happy in a herd, a pasture, or a pen.
Teeth were done in June, she had bodywork done in early July, and her feet and deworming are up to date.

Rosa is a 8 yr old mare, 15.1hh and stout. She's super quiet and uncomplicated to ride. A really solid start on her,lots of bush experience she's nice and steady on the trails. Walks out really good. Has 3 solid gaits in the arena and speed variation within them, super soft laterally, soft face. Has been to a cattle sorting clinic and did spectacular. Has been on the flag and was a natural. Has been to gymkhanas and handled it all fine. Not spooky or hot, but a nice light ride still. Could go in absolutely any direction, ive had kids ride her (as young as š, and she's perfect. She would suit a youth or confident beginner. She ties, bathes, trailers, is happy in a herd on pasture or in a pen. No vices. Everything is current. Located in Falkland BC. Super fancy mover! Frankie is a super well bred 2 year old, with exceptional conformation. She's a granddaughter of Mr Good and Plenty, and Lazy Loper. She has the papers, the color, and the movement, and she's ready to start your way. She has grown up on acreage in a herd setting, being brought in daily for basic handling and feed program etc. Can catch her out of a herd on 70 acres, no problem. Is happy in a barn or small pen as well. She is currently 14.2 on the front and 15 on the hip, I expect she'll finish at about 15.1hh. She is well handled,leads, ties, bathes, good for the farrier. Lunging was started this spring, with loping started 4 weeks ago. She hasn't been doing endless circles etc, she's sound, healthy and ready to start her career. Showmanship is getting solid, she's lovely in the halter. She has been introduced to the snaffle. I've had an 8 yr old youth lunge her and do some showmanship with her with no problems at all. These horses are known for being great minded and this filly is all of that and then some. I have the color results from Etalon. Teeth were checked in June, feet are current. Flirt is the coolest horse on the place. We run the quad about 1km through trails out to the pasture every day to get the horses to work them. This morning we only needed Flirt, she long trots beside the quad adjusting her speed just as perfect as can be. Nice party trick Flirt.š
Super busy few days at the farm. Yesterday was spent doing sales videos and pictures. Weāre putting sales packages together today and will be marketing a few more horses (and one very cute ponyš„°), in the next week or two.

Super fun day today riding with the 4X putting some cows on range. Dylan and Flirt, and Lynndsay and Kelsey all did great for their first time on stock.
I believe that this sport is an athletic pursuit, and I believe that there is a tactful way to address everything and every client about their horseās physical needs/issues as well as the riderās. A couple years ago I was teaching out of town and a lovely lady rode in for her lesson on a little horse. I immediately had a private and tactful conversation that included giving her a couple super simple steps to kick starting a healthier weight. She messaged me a couple days ago and is down over 100 pounds!!! I couldnāt be more proud. You know who you are, and I thank you for trusting me. š„°
You canāt be packing extra weight and expect your horse to perform to his best ability. You canāt have an obese horse and ask it to perform to its best ability.
This 2 yr old Good and Lazy filly has been so fun to watch Dylan bring along on the ground. Now Lynndsay is putting some finishing touches on, and sheāll be for sale in about a week. If youāre looking for a super quiet, breed quality pleasure/all around prospect, sheād be suitable for a youth or amateur rider.

Justified put in competitive rounds in his warm up classes and upgraded throughout the weekend with confidence and rideability in the 2ā9 ring. So pleased with this guys development over the last year, itās so rewarding when the pieces come together on these young horses.
Also a congratulations to Tallis Dixon and her lovely mare, Ocean who successfully contested the 0.90 and 1.0m divisions. Youāve done an excellent job developing this tricky girl!

Deegan is under saddle again, after a short time of fitting him up from the ground. The team has really worked together with this big guy, and Steph put the first 2 rides on him. Then it was my turn. He absolutely floats, even with only a moderate fitness level. Looking forward to the progress in the next 30. And yes he is a big guy, sticking a solid 17hh.

Cassie having a fun little jump school this morning with Steph Watersš¤© This was the first technical exercise weāve done with this clever mare, she clearly doesnāt need much help with her technique!! She is so special and has become absolutely enamoured with the jumping game. She has been such a joy to bring along and we canāt wait for her to find her new person. We sure love when we can find a job that these horses enjoy doing so much!
Livās birthday is in 4 days, so the timing of this couldnāt be more perfect. This is her first ride on her new mare āRubyā, and it couldnāt have gone any better. Ruby is a green broke 5 yr old mare by Idol Eyes This, out of a Luke at Me mare. We are looking forward to working with Liv to build this mare. Thank you to Shelley Todd for trusting her into my program, sheās a very special mare.
Technical bridge crossing today.
Alan has a gaited horse in for training. He was a stud up until fairly recently. Heās been spooky under saddle with his owner. This just shows what happens to a horse when the rider exudes confidence. This horse hasnāt had a spook or refused to cross any water, mud, bog, bridge. Heās solid for us. Now his owner will come and spend a few days with us so we can help her learn to trust this beautiful guy again. Heās absolutely stunning, and really well behaved, a treat to have on the farm. And just because we do things a little differently, heās living with our stallion while heās here. They get along like bffās but independent of each other when separated. And watching them interact with each other, because he was a stallion for so long, is super interesting. Itās like they āgetā each other. ā¤ļø

Circle C Equestrian is located on 28 acres in the beautiful Falkland, British Columbia. It is owned by experienced horse-people Shari and Alan Galbraith as well as being home to Tess Corpsā Training and Sales program. Between these three equestrian veterans, there is a lifetime of knowledge covering the majority of the ever-changing equestrian world.
Shari Galbraith boasts 28 years of coaching experience, specializing in Western disciplines. She is a competition coach as well as a trail coach. In addition to coaching, Shari also spends her time judging and is a carded Horse Council BC Performance Judge, Carded Course Designer, and Carded Mountain Trail Judge. She has shown to the National Level in Western and Hunter Under Saddle.
Alan Galbraith is a highly qualified Outfitter, Trail Guide, and Packing Instructor with over 40 years of equine experience. He also specializes in training and coaching Gaited horses.
Tess Corps is a Level 2 Equine Canada Certified Coach specializing in Hunter/Jumper and 3-Day Eventing. She has recently returned to her calling and passion for teaching and training after a several year hiatus from intensive, upper-level coaching.
Assisting these terrific trainers is Stephanie Waters, a long-time working student in the Eventing world. After working at an upper-level Canadian eventing barn for four years she continued her education in California last winter under the tutelage of Pan American gold medalist Tamra Smith. She has shown through Preliminary level eventing, 3ā9 Jumpers, and second level dressage before starting university. After taking a short break, Steph is now back as Assistant rider to Shari and Tess and aids in assessing, developing, and the finishing work on the horses in our program.
Our 5th and final member of the Circle C team is Sarah Bruce, our other assistant rider! A seasoned horsewoman who specializes in starting, restarting, and working with problem horses she is an invaluable asset for our diverse program. With experience bringing along rescue horses to prepare them for resale she has extensive knowledge in backing horses. She grew up in a competitive environment as Tessās daughter and has taken many horses through the local show circuits as well.
