This approach not only helps Ted feel safe but also ensures we get more accurate results.

Meet this large sweet girl, recently diagnosed with irreversible pulpitis in both upper canines. Both teeth showed pink and grey discoloration and sensitivity to digital pressure. After discussing treatment options, her owner opted for extraction over a referral for root canal therapy.

🐾 **Beware of Spear Grass: The Devil's Weed is Here!** 🌾😈
Hey SSACC Family!
Spear grass season is upon us, and we’re already seeing its nasty effects on our furry friends. Also known as “the devil’s weed” here at SSACC, spear grass can cause serious discomfort and health issues for dogs.
**What to watch for:**
- Painful ears 😖
- Head tilt 🐶
- Head shaking
- Red lumps on the skin, especially between toes, that may or may not pop and ooze discharge 🚨
These barbed seeds can migrate through the body, leading to infections and other complications. This poor girl had a large one embedded in her eardrum—the second case this week! If you notice any of these signs, it’s important to bring your dog in for a check-up. Let’s keep our pets safe and comfortable this season!
