Cirque will be joining us TOMORROW (February 14th) at our Vernon location 11:00am to do a draw for a 💞 HUGE Valentine's basket 💝 (including a $100 gift card for our store). Come early to enter the draw and give Cirque some love! We sponsor Cirque to help cover the cost of food, travel, vet bills and other expenses so she can keep doing her very important job.

Cirque is an accredited facility dog who works with youth from Vernon and surrounding communities. She works at Oak Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, where her job is to sit with children who have experienced trauma and/or abuse. Dogs like Cirque are amazing because their presence calms anxiety and fear in children, helping them better participate with the professionals working to keep them safe. ❤️🩷🩵

No, we don’t sell elephant food now, but we do think the is a pretty awesome organization and we wanted to share it with you to brighten your day. Their posts are inspiring, uplifting and beautiful. A long time customer of our stores brought this organization to our attention many years ago as it was an organization dear to his late wife. 🩷 Enjoy.

Sharing…

One of our wonderful clients suffered a devastating loss last night when their barn tragically burned down. By some miracle, they woke during the night and were able to get their horses out just in time. However, everything else was lost.

These are the kind of people who always give but never ask—so on their behalf, we are reaching out to our incredible horse community for support. If anyone is able to contribute, they are in need of:

- Pitchforks
- A wheelbarrow
- Winter blankets (sizes 74”, 78”, and 81-82”)
- Buckets (water and feed)
- Extra halters (horse size)
- Beet pulp

As horse people, we all know how much we tend to collect over the years—if you have any extras, big or small, they would be deeply appreciated as they navigate this incredibly stressful time.
In an effort to respect their privacy, donations can be dropped off at Mills Veterinary Services. Thank you so much to anyone who can help!
