How do we assist?

We will be boots on the ground. We will be in the car, driving around, or walking the trails and helping locate your dog(s). We will be asking you questions, relevant to you and your dog to best help us figure out a plan of where to start and where to head. We will be someone to text or call, to not feel alone while out looking. We are here to help you in a way that you know best on how to help locate your dog. At the end of the day, we will take direction and lead from the owner of the lost dog(s). You know your dog best, and we are here to help you. While we may have suggestions from previous cases that have taught us, nothing needs to be done that you do not want to do.

• Live trapping (Size dependant / trap availability)
•Abundance of trail and street knowledge for Vernon

About us:

We are brother & sister who make a dynamic duo when paired together for this venture. Our love for dogs (all animals really!) is what brought this passion about so naturally. Many of you may have seen us posting on the local lost dog posts for the last couple of years now. We come from an Indigenous Matriarch who has instilled in us a gentle love for all animals. And a respect that has taught us how to best interact with a wide variety of animals (dogs especially), without a fear of them as we have learned how to look from the dog's perspective and thinking to best help them and you be reunited in a safe and calm manner.

Leo has two rescue dogs himself and has learned a lot about dogs and their behavior through his current dogs and past dogs. He also is highly intuitive and has a keen sense for where dogs tend to go, how they think and where to best locate them. On several occasions, his intuition has led us directly to where the dog is located, or very close by. Leo is the main eyes on the ground, and the social media contact often behind the screen when communicating directly with you when looking for canines.

Amy has always had a passion for all animals, dogs especially. She is a newly certified Veterinary Hospital Assistant at a local veterinary clinic in town and is stepping into her passions as a career now. Amy is the literal driving force behind the Sniffestigators, using her SUV and skills as a past delivery driver and knowledge of the roads to help get us to locations we may otherwise miss. She is likewise skilled in how dogs think and how to approach them once located.

Together, we have decided to create this page to help you when needing help locating your dog who decided to take a walk, without you. Our motto we stand by is “No one should have to look for their lost dog, alone.” We will walk by your side through that often frantic and scary journey with you, helping locate and reunite your best fur-friend and you.
